Some very nicely-judged mods! Like the way the grill and mirrors match up with the opensky roof; very subtle but it works well.
 
You've got a lovely car there. Not sure about black out rings though. Being silver car thought you might have left then chromed.

But yeah i like it. Black mirrors is a nice touch.

Thanks guys, i was thinking about spraying the s-line badge black too, but just left a little bit of colour there.
 
Grill looks good :) Did you fit it yourself?

Dont like black audi rings, looks like the chromes been stolen :(
 
TDI- how did you get on with the exhaust tips in the end...did you change them or stick with them?...Cars looks great:icon_thumright:
 
i really like that, looks spot on, oem yet different, which I think is a hard thing to do and get right!

I removed them from the original grill, which was no mean feat! I used phantom black Audi spray and lacquer and give them about 5 coats, but as they are not baked on, they may chip.

There is no existing part for black rings.

I had a go, removed the three torque screws from the top of the grill, and then realised there was more to it.

So i booked the car into Jabba Sport and they removed the bumper, fitted the grill and also fitted the wing mirrors too, took 2 hours.

Oh yes, i forget to take pics.

Basically i had a new standard 140 back box fitted by Jabba Sport. So it looks the same as any other s-line 140 now. I didn't want to spend loads on a Milltek as there is no point if i am keeping the engine standard.
 
Just a personal opinion but would look better with the chrome rings - just looks too plain imho.

Like the black grille though.

Just a quick update, the black rings had a few stone chips on, even after my excessive painting and varnish protection.

So have reverted back to the original chrome rings.
 
I was thinking of having mine stripped polished and the centres paintin anthracite ... or selling them.
 
I have just bought a set of folding mirrors and was thinking of changing my mirrors caps at the same time.

Cant decide if to go for black to match the optics or chrome, what do you think?
