Gave the car a little clean yesterday! now I've worked out how to get some pics up, Thanks Skye-S3!! Here they are....

I think it needs a good detail, once I've used up my Auto glym stuff i'll probably get the jeffs stuff and clay it etc.. As it gets such great reviews by polished bliss, I could do with a wetter look as the say.

I've not polished or waxed it yet but i think the previous owner looked after it well, i just washed it and dried with a microfiber cloth.
I did get told off for being on the grass though! :angrymod:

Looks good matey, love the colour, but as you say the wet look may add some depth. May also consider lowering it a tad...? If money allows, but other than that :sm4:

I think so you get a free badge with the plates but i said i didn't want one.

you also get the mounting sticky pads if you want to do it that way.

Not sure, but to be fair they are not exactly the best plates ever, the metal is too thin for my liking doesn't matter as the front is in a holder the back one doesn't look the best close up, it would be ok if the metal was thicker

But then again i've never seen any other metal plates so i cant really compare they might all be like that and I'm just being fussy,

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure it was innov8_int that I bought em off! Yeah they are quite thin. Mine eventually got stolen!!!I just ordered some more which are the genuine german font and also better quality and service!
I tried looking on volksbits for the plate holder...cant find it:uhm: Got a link please?

here

I did think about the German font but i cant really be ***** with getting pulled over for them, i know the ones i have aren't legal but at least they look pretty near uk standard.

How easy was it to fit the knob? If you know what I mean....

It was very easy to fit, all you have to do is take out the old staples from your gaiter and then using the staples and holes again attach the new gaiter, this is the fiddlyist bit, you will see what i mean if you pull the gaiter up from the console.
