Was an awesome trip all round.... Recommend it to anyone anyday.
The tunnels were amazing and the sound of the cars were just so deafening seriously deafening... ears are stilling ringing.

Following morning... At Monaco.
The wigs are out and abit of Foody Fa Fa!!! The double looks people gave were classic...

Underground car parks in Monaco hide many of these exotic motors. This was just one of them.

I was hoping the owner didnt walk in to see me standing there in the middle of his garage with THIS!

Other beach was abit explicit so really didnt want to take pictures there.
Much needed dip in nice cool water here though...

Once again Big thanks to Alex for the organisation and the routes he took us on.
It really was that good that he went it alone just to enjoy the driving out there.

The place is massive. Took us virtually whole day there we got back to the hotel late in the evening... so theres plenty of drive and exploring to do there.

Blasted at the local jetwash, Mixed in a bit of bug remover in the wash, came off easily. Probably due to the wax previous.

Just done my back box and pipes with some white spirit/autosol. WOW

It was awesome, a bit silly perhaps that we drew un necessary attention to ourselves, but not silly as in endangering people, the road was pretty empty and pedestrians were behind metal fencing.

I just wanted to point that out, so people dont think we were being idiotic.

I wasn't ever even slightly scared for my or anyone elses safty on the trip, we were all very sensible :icon_thumright:

So how did the GIAC hammer map compare to Leon's STD car on the road?

Did you have any side by side compaisons? only up to the speed limit , that goes without saying!

Alex's car pulls....hard. We didnt have any standing start moments we werent there for that. We had a side by side moment and his car was definatley pulling away slowly... at the topper end shall we say

Having said all that though, at those speeds if one person puts their foot down even a second before the other, i'd say he has won it mapped or not, it was that close....

But i'd pay for that GIAC map just for the sound, omg it was awesome. My mate Kris thought it was akin to the deafening sound of an airplane. I dont disagree.

Also though, its worth pointing out that the standard S3 sounds pretty awesome too. Ali's car sounded almost as aggressive when passing us.

I agree to that too... Alex's car definately got pull on it... Maybe not like a 330 remap should do.. personallly i thought it would leave a standard S3 for dead but it still pulls away from standard.

The sound it gives though is awesome... esp in the tunnels.

Seeing that starting grid at the GP was amazing... the REAL thing that i've always seen on tv. Was definately a buzz to do.. 3 2 1...!!
