On the NEW graphs the BHP figures are running a bit high?

The torque figures have gone through the roof.......i'd love to be able to claim them, but even i can't defend that!

Ive just printed the NEW plot off and i'll be going down to Awesome in a bit for some info!

If i'm not happy i'll ask for a free run!

Yes, if Awesomes rollers are to be believed don't bother having a remap with either GIAc or Revo as the gains are too small.

Can't believe they have only just got around to putting these figures up, nothing like efficientcy eh ?!
 
Just back from Awesome , the plots we got on the day are the correct graphs , worked out using DIN? the new one's are OUR plots , but worked out using another method ( they made a mistake when uploading them ) they will use the DIN plots and re-upload them to the site!

I asked them to tell me my fly wheel/BHP figure they said " we can't be 100% accurate , but between 286-296BHP " .

They know all about this Tfsi engaine making more than book , but they were still surprised when i told them it was STD.

Awesome either need to re-train their Techs or recalibrate their dyno.

I never bought my car BRAND new it was a Audi reps car and it could of been fiddled with!

pretty sure his was from new I remember asking that same question on the day.
 
If these figures are correct ( only a second opinion RR can prove it ) then thats why some people can't tell the difference when they get it remapped!

As i said in the other Awesome RR day thread , when spin140 took me out in his Hammer mapped car it felt faster , BUT wasn't night and day compared to my car!

We have 2 S3's in the company, one is mine (07 with Revo) the other is a 08 standard (both identical in colour/spec etc) and having driven miles together mine is certainly faster both in feel and on the road.

As mentioned before I would be up for another RR session with the 8P S3's if any of you guys are also up for it?...I could also persude the other S3 of ours to come along.

I've sold the S3 but would attend anyway as long as not Awesome, what about JBS in chesterfield ?
 
What about here , they hold Scooby RR days all the time , and as we know there AWD/4WD so they should have the costdown/correction down pat!

Just noticed they deal in VAG servicing also , maybe a Awesome alternative? REVO anyone?:jump:

A bit of a distance for me mate, 97 miles or 1 hr 50 mins according to the supplied map.
Not out of the question though as the set up looks good.

Phantom is correct Prosport have a very good 4 wheel RR.
I've used Propsort for many years for Subaru's and can utterly recommend (Pter wo owns the place) for quality and attention to detail.
They are also Revo dealers and are wanting to get into more Audi servicing etc. Will be taking my car for its oil change there when its due !

I think we need a GOOD 4wd set up or else it's just 100% guess for the boys who have quattro!

Ive had a VERY brief chat with the lady on the phone , rough costs are 15 cars min = £35 a head for 1X3 runs.

I'm not ***** where we go , but it's got to be 4WD.

I'd be interested in a dyno day depending on where and when.
 
Well if we can arrange to go to Prosport that would be ideal for our other car as we are looking to put Revo on that too so before/after runs on the same car would good.

Perhaps time to start another RR Day thread?

Prosport is VERY local to me , but thats not the point , the point is they have a very good rep within the Subaru community! Scooby.net hold there RR days there so they must have a good/accurate 4WD rolling road!

I don't mind setting it up , but i don't want people to think i'm only suggesting Prosport coz it's round the corner!

Lets put out a feeler before we go to press!
