My cars on 8312 miles, the car was registered late June 07.

Oil change says - 2500 miles or 151 days.

Service says - 10800 miles or 816 days.

I take it it's which ever comes first miles or days?

Can i do the oil change myself or do i need to take it to Audi? How do i get rid of the oil service notice on the DIS if i do it myself? Will there be a oil service between every service?

Roughley speaking will 19112 miles before the 1st service be ok for a "performance car" ? seems a lot miles!

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Mine says about simlair - oil change at around 10K and then a service at 19 / 20K. Which I think is OK for a modern turbo car .
I'm guessing have to have the oil change at the stealers - sorry dealers unless can find a good independant that can reset the service interval.

Cheers mate.

Thats one of the questions; do we always have a interim oil change in between services?

How do you reset the oil change interval on the DIS?

I don't want to pay Audi £80-100 whatever it is , when i can do it myself in 30mins and £30 dabs for the oil!

Thanks
