New spoiler fitted

hello everyone

went to stafford audi to buy a s-line spoiler cheap, for some reason they were selling stock off on ebay.

dropped it of at the body shop to get sprayed up and just got it fitted today

i am very very pleased with it, makes such a difference.

all i want to do now is remap it and tints

im after some light tints, enough to see through the windows

has anybody got a picture of a grey A3 with light tints or any tints??????

any comments welcome

the spoiler i got for £100 and spraying and fitting cos me £70

£170 is alot of money but i think its worth it

The guy who bought my MY04 Dolphin Grey A3 Sport got the windows tinted. I think he said they were 30% or something like that.

I should see him next week some time, so if you don't get a photo by then I can probably sort you out with one.

I must say it really looks the part with the tints.

Think thats the votex spoiler but there is not much diff, looks so much better

Here is my akoya silver A3 with 35% tints, the way the picture is taken it makes them a lot darker, when you see in the flesh personally i think they look perfect. You can still see through the car slightly if you know what i mean. Ps the bonnet is not staying black

is that a 2004 model meaning with the double grill?? if it is what parts did you need to make it look like that, its looks so cool

Yes it was the double grill but now has the facelift bumper and new bonnet, will be doing a post shortly to explain what needs to be done

Yeah mine is the votex.

Should be ready for picking up Thursday from the body shop, i did all the fitting etc but thought best get the pros to paint

Nathans tints are also 35% along side mne they are the same. As you can see from these pics 35% can look light in the sun.

Photos my old Dolphin Grey A3 with tints as promised.

As you can see from the above shots you can see through my side windows, but not the side windows of my old car. They are under the legal tinting limit whatever that is. Not bad for €170. After seeing both cars side by side with the sun shining (and 22 degrees!) I think I might be looking to get my own windows tinted.

The S3 below also has the standard green tint. No real reason for this photo, other than the fact that I took it today too!
