I'm quite stoked! It gets fitted tomorrow and I hope that the gains are decent! Come on REVO...I need that stage 2 map already:w00t:

If you are polishing the tips of the exhaust make sure you are not too hard on it as the miltek logo is only a print :(

not for road use?? i dont think mine said that on it! :S

Thanks for the headsup :sm4:

My system is decatted hence the not for road use...

Mental. Very nice. Will it get used on road??!?!

Anyone done this in the UK?

I would be interested in knowing how to pass an MOT with that exhaust....

When I had my downpipe changed to a de-cat on my Mk5 GTI I had problems running REVO software (stage 2)

I was running the full Milltek system with sports cat (car running perfectly) and then got the cat removed looking for more power torque and response..

With the increased flow the car often encountered the fuel/boost cut problem, and to be honest apart from reducing spool time between gears there was no noticeable performance gain over the Milltek (HJS 200cell) sports cat downpipe..

It does give a lovely aggressive note to the exhaust though, and flames too..

Let us know how you get one once you have it fitted, hopefully the S3 wont encounter the same problems as my GTI did!

So hows it running?? looks great, much prefer that style of tail pipe to the twin 90mm that Milltek also produce..

How come you took the prop fully out?! I just dropped the front and the downpipe went it easy..

Johnny C u get any bigger pics of your car??

The picture in my sig is not actually my car, its what my car will be looking like in a week or so though..

I did a Photoshop image to see what I was going to go with and just thought I would use it..

Dont have the big version now though as my computer decided to s**t itself and I have lost everything..

Ill make sure I post up some pics as soon as its finished though..

Jonny

My cousin's TT has the same them you see. Were spraying a red line on his BBS CHs (which are black) and his car is red with the new PPI black grille. Looks awesome!

Very nice. Do you have any before & after dynos? What other mods do you have?

I dont see a decat option on their site, did you custom order these?

very nice rabbit
will the change in back-pressure affect your boost in any way?

Will be very interesting to see how loud it is.

By any chance you can post up a clip on here or youtube?

Hey Jonny,

I have fitted the Autotech fuel pump as well. What should I be on the lookout for regarding the fuel cut issue?

They removed the propshaft because they said it made the install alot easier. The car is going like an absolute beast! It's insanely fast!

@ boggysv, I will hopefully do a dyno run later this week. I.

@yahyar, Not really sure mate..will check what VAGCOM says...

@S3Jet, will do so later today...

@Defratos, yup the system was a custom decat system built by Milltek UK. Workmanship is unbelievable and the tone of the zorst is stunning!

That will be great, can't wait to hear that.

and would be nice to know the dyno too.

good job.

Hehe, that is gonna be sweet! De-cat all the way, are your emission tests as tight over there, if you have a test that is?
Love the 'Not for road use' when it blatantly is gonna be used for exactly that!! That is gonna pop, bang and flame like a trooper!!
We will be needing lots of vids mate!!

Just I only had my problem once I had de-catted my car so was just giving you the heads up..

With the fuel pump upgrade and the s3 injectors and different boost characteristics of the K04 you will probably be ok..

I was considering going with a de-cat but in the UK its not legal and I cant be bothered with the problems that I would get into if it was noticed..

Im running a Milltek sports cat down pipe with a very unrestrictive rear section, sound is amazing with the k04, much different to my previous GTI..

Keep us posted on the dyno results, good luck!

lol!

Our emission laws are not yet as strict as you guys but hey...nobody will be checking my car anytime soon :sm4:

Will try my best to get those vids mate ;)

@ Jonnyc, definitely sounds way better than what my GTI sounded too...its so damn addictive!

You have taken some very good pictures there ! Would be interested in knowing the gains you have got from the full system as well !

What software are you running with the downpipe?

And did you run with the de-cat downpipe and non de-cat software at all?

Im wandering If you de-cat the car does it just bring a light up or will it send the car into limp mode?

Any feedback would be helpful :D

Also lets see the vids ; )

Thanks

Jonny

Apologies guys, will do my best to get it done this weekend.

Rabbit do you might if i ask you how much you pay for the full system???

if you don't mind can you please PM me, or if anyone know??

i am in australia. and just got it quote for 4100 AUD..... non-resonated system.

Hey Jonny, apologies man! Just been really hectic on my side...

Still running REVO Stage1...hopefully Kev will have a new map for me soon *hint hint, nudge nudge* Have to admit though, the car is pulling unbelievably well! I am running a full decat system and have no issues with engine check errors at all. I havn't had any limp mode issues either...

Regarding the Forge DV, difficult to say whether its a worthy mod or not. Car feels alot more aggressive with it fitted...more like a surge tbh. My intake is quiet with only a slight sneeze with the stock DV but the Forge DV amplifys that by triple. I can only assume that this is because the Forge DV is mechanical and not electronic like the stock item.

Ah ok, thats interesting about your car not having an CEL up after running de-cat..

When you say the Forge DV created surge do you mean acceleration surge? So the boost was no longer smooth as it was before the install?

I know the Revo stage 2 ( for exhaust ) is very nearly ready , i know of one car it's going on today! :ninja:

'Not for road use' stamped all over it.
Grow up, for christ's sake.:keule:
