It says they are genuine sensors, they also fit non-genuine stuff too. If the OEM stuff is £295 fitted, I'd like to see a price for a kit.

I concur, he came to fit Cruise to my S3 & a colleague's TT on Tuesday. About 1 hour per car, and all is well. Even checked for faults on Vag-com at no extra charge. Bargain at £149 fitted.

Me too....

Did some digging, he probably fits the Audi retrofit kit which VAGparts sell for £179+VAT. The factory fitted option lets you change the tone and volume of the alarm via the DIS and the parts for that alone are over £200+VAT.

Funnily enough I was browsing through ETKA this morning and came across 8P0 054 630 B "parking aid, electronic complete with assy instr. and assembly material" priced at €231.09+VAT. Is this the same part number as the one you found?

He supplied and fitted my FBMFSW.

Came to Manchester , he got the part without me having to pay deposit/upfront, part was brand new S3 wheel ( not a TT wheel )

Came when he said he would , kept in contact via phone , i would/will use him again!

Anybody know if they will supply the cruise control kit for self install? I'm looking for the kit for a GTi but their ebay site seems to be callout only for the installation.

Hi Marc, Give Vagparts a call. If it's a mk 5 the cruise stalk is £40 and the lower trim is £14. HTH

I have to order an armrest retrofit kit from them for a friend, so I might see about ordering that at the same time.

It is the MkV. Presumably there is more to it than just the stalk and lower trim, or is that all I'll need?
