Would be grateful if someone could assist.

Need to know part number for A3 8P S-Line Tailgate spoiler.

Believe was an option for pre-facelift Sport and S-Lines.

Many Thanks.

Anthony.

From the ETKA catalog - illustration 827-50

Spoiler for rear lid:
8P3 860 943 (2dr)
8P3 860 943 GRU (2dr - primed)
8P4 827 933 (4dr)
8P4 827 933 GRI (4dr - primed)

You will also need to order 1 of N 106 532 01 (hexagonal head bolt c/w shoulder - 2pk)

It also lists b D 438 515 A1 (double-sided adhesive tape) - presumably to help stick it down.

It shows a price of €182.50+VAT for either spoiler, 15cent+vat for the bolts and €15+VAT for the tape. Not sure what the sterling prices are though.

you can try this link it has all the part numbers near the end, hope it helps

Would have been interested to see that, unfortunately it didn't show up.

But thanks though.

My post #10

3 door part no 8P0071640K9AX £145 RRP

Sportback part no 8P90716409AZ £200 RRP

This is for the Votex spolier and not the sline but very similar, if you look in the above post my car is in there with the votex

or look at http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?t=38329

Was gonna go just s-line i think. the spoiler appears to be a tad smaller to me.

Looks good on yours though cos your front bumper spoiler extends the front to match.

Thanks for your reply.

Is this the genuine Audi S-Line Tailgate spoiler part no.?

I apologise if I appear ill-educated on this subject (well I am)

But...

what is ETKA?

Is there no documentation anywhere available listing all the part numbers.

ETKA is the electronic parts catalogue for Volkswagen Group cars, including Volkswagen, SEAT, Skoda and Audi.
ETKA stands for Elektronischer Teilekatalog. The English equivalent is Electronic Parts Catalog

This is the same software your local dealer will use to check part numbers and order stock.
It only lists two tailgate spoilers for the 8P A3 - one for 2dr and one for 4dr - the part numbers for which are above.

Ok thanks guys

I've ordered the spoiler primed.

with bolts and tape.

thought I'd grace you with a thank you for your help mate.

The primer doesn't wanna be spoiled or my source will pay for it.

I was thinking about this myself......where is the best place to buy from?

Has your spoiler arrived K-dash and does it look like it will fit on your tailgate? Was looking thought ETKA and it lists a few different tailgates depending if you have the spoiler.

From what I can see ETKA lists four part numbers, but three of them are the same. Presumably one is for the three door and one for the 5 door.

Is this the same as what you are seeing, or are you seeing something different?

On mine the lid is number 1 on the diagrams

8P4 part numbers are sportback. There seems to be loads of rear lids.

They also change depending on the year you look at.

Sorry - I did a search for tailgate. How silly of me not to know the tailgate was actually called a rear lid!

I wonder if the spoiler one is pre-drilled for the spoiler bolts. I assume that there are also different variants for the rear number plate sizes - US\EU\Japan, etc. As you can see there are two different types of license plate trim (item 26).
