Another Idiot in the car park!

If I see someone parked over two spaces, I'll squeeeeeze my car in right next to them, they can dent the sh1t out of my car, I no longer care, but they'll realise that there obnoxious self centred ways mean they have to damage their own precious car getting into it

Young drivers have and cause more accidents than us Old Farts!!

What's the point of retaking the driving test. All that does is say you can drive slowly round a town. No parking, no night driving, no motorway driving.

Perhaps complusory reading of the Highway Code every day would help!!

I do the same if i'm in the works van. That will teach them!
:racer:

That is an illegal offence and if you are caught the police can get involved and press charges

an illegal offence?

what's a legal offence?

TBH I'm not too sure about your statement since car parks aren't adpoted highways therefore not liable to come under PCNs

I think the situation is that if the car park is a public car-park owned by a local authority then the situation is very similar to the highway. If is a private car-park, such as a supermarket car-park, then unless a serious crime has or is being committed, the police would not get involved. It would be a civil matter for the store owner to deal with.

Damage to a car or parking over two spaces would not normally be regarded by the police as a serious crime.

Whats the problem with parking over 2 spaces when the car park is near empty???????????

You will say if the car park is empty there is no need..... Well the is because people are such annoy tw&ts. I will park in a dead car park, park well away from store and some tit will be parked an inch off the car.

WHY!

Also to the guy who spits on cars, if i saw someone do that to someone elses car they would need medical attention. Totally out of order!!!!

i naturally assume if - someone can't manage to fit their car inbetween two white lines, in a totally open carpark - they are a clueless feckwit who shouldnt be allowed to have a license, let alone a car

in reality, I only squeeze my car next to an idiot who takes two spaces when the carpark is busy, doing it then is simply being an ****

The problem with parking over two spaces when the car park is near empty is that it doesn't take long to fill up. I done this before parked far side of the car-park with loads of spaces and then iv'e come back later with the car-park being full.

Im talking Waitrose on a Sunday morning. Never ever seen more than 25% of spaces taken. Also in that 25% full carpark if parked in a single space i would say 50% of the time i have come out and been unhappy by someone parked uber close to mine!!!

I wasn't being funny mate. It just seems to only happen to me.

Personally I think people who are so concenred about someone damaging their precious car that they park over two parking spaces should leave their car at home safely tucked up in their garage.

HEHE thats cool mate.

Wouldnt mind people parkin next to me as long as they are careful, accidents happen but some people just done care. Happens with everything i guess, some people just dont seem to have any respect.

very much agree here Dave, which is why i like to wind these people up by parking sooooooooooooooo close they will clearly have to get in via the passenger side - if you are that precious, leave it at home

Thats clever of you :applaus:

What?
What's clever?

Is it clever to take two spaces?

Is it clever to make others lives more difficult?

no, its as clever as being a selfish c8ck head who makes it more difficult for other people to park AND get out of their cars,

Was out with my parents the other week, there were a few spaces left, not enough to be selective and choose though,

some idiot in a poxy corsa had parked across two bays

so I dropped my folks off (they're in their 70's) and shoved my car in the gap

In this case, yeah, Its VERY clever of me

If you are THAT prissy about your car, leave it at home, it will also save it from getting dirty too

seeing as you were with your folks you should have parked in the parent and child spaces - they're always empty

Thats clever. They are only going to remember you next time round and do the same to you, With them doing damage because they were ****** off.

Thought this forum was full of likeminded people........

What is the point in arguing the toss about inconciderate people. I should imagine i would be safe enough leaving my car parked next to you bicardi as i would hope you have some respect for others belongings.

The problem is alot of people have no cares about damaging other property and alot of people can park in 2 spaces at the wrong time.

If someone were to park so close i couldn't get in my car in an empty carpark i would be livid. No sence in it....

read earlier post

I couldnt give a sh1t about my car anymore, let them do what they want

did I say anthing about empty carparks?

no, so leave that one

Did I say I damage others? Ever?

No, I don't, that's just being a total tw4t

I've NEVER hit another car with mine (in a carpark, there was once an incident where the brakes didn't quite work well enough :) )

But, if someone is being a selfish idiot, and as I no longer worry about my car, hell, I'll be there

I too thought this forum was for like minded people, if those people are selfish idiots who take two spaces, then sorry, I'm not like minded

hehehe

Good for you matey :)

Think we better just agree to disagree.

Geeeez forgot how serious people get on forums :haha:

God, what is this guys issue?!

if you are referring to me, issue is people who think they have a right to inconvenience others by being selfish and taking two spaces in a carpark, personally I think its pretty poor

I've seen people do it before, never affected me though, but even if it did I don't think I'd get quite as worked up as you have! Chill out.

did i say I would do it?

I asked if you would be bothered by someone gouging your car

yes, I believe we've all noticed but I find that hard to believe

in any case, stay lucky!

When you see people who you care for impacted by this sort of behaviour then I guess you'd think differently, well I hope you would

errr, I don't believe you've actually understood my posts

so your car, would you be bothered... ;)

Come on mate, its not exactly a big deal. I've never parked over 2 spaces myself because I figure it'll attract keys. But lets get real, in the worst case scenario you might have to spend a couple of extra minutes looking for a free space due to someone parking over two spaces. It's not very likely (never happened to me) and even if it does happen, nobody is going to die are they?

EDIT:

p.s. I do get ****** off with people parking too close on a regular basis though.

Did you confront her?

This is why i never park in a normal space if i can help it - i will search and search a car park for a decent space so no imbecile can dent/hit/scratch my car
i do the same mate i park all on my lonesome but i can guarantee that buy the time i get back to my car someone has decided to park next to me:banghead: why lord oh why:wtf:

Just been out today, parked far side of the car park and waited in the car while my wife went into the shops. Two mins later some old fart parked at the side of me 10" away and was going to try and get out until he saw me sitting there looking at him.He started up and just drove off. What would he have done if i was not in the car!!!!!!!!
:keule:
Thats the problem, You park at the far side of car-park away from any cars and when you come back to your car there's a car at the side of you! Even when car-park is part full.
