ive seeen blcak ones mate but none that are good of clear angels or black angels...

I hate clear one's on mine for a while you might be able to find pics by searching my posts

They looked pretty crap tbh, the angels were made up of 4 led's and looked pretty cack, my dad having a nice 5 series to show how different they really are to the bmw ones

All in they're prob not worth it mate, best left for bm's i think, i changed mine to facelift lights

Any help?

There class in black. I have HID xenons. Will i still be able to use them in angels?

Rich, you NEED to get some white sidelights, they look awful in yellow!

However, I've not wired up my angel rings on mine, and I reckon they actually look rather good.

Did you ever get around the light ending abruptly? Mine is just the same, loads of light, then a dead stop.

If you look inside the projector unit, there is a section of metal inside to give the shape, I was thinking, if you could be bothered, you could take the units apart and file that silly stop away, could keep the kick up profile for MOT legality, but it could make the beam a lot better I reckon.

I dont believe you can run HID's in the angel eye lights, the cases are plastic, and they say in big letters on the back NO HID.

Also, the bulbs are different fitment to audi lights, I think theyre 2 pairs of H1 bulbs

Yeah, backing up prawns belief, its true, a friend sells HIDs (www.convert2xenon.com) and said he has heard of cases where the plastic melts due to the high intensity. To avoid people ignoring this advice angel eye manufacturers make the space for the bulb small on purpose so it cannot house the HID bulb. Honestly your better off purchasing facelift headlights and adding HIDs to them.

I learnt that the hard way,

There is no way you can fit a HID bulb in those lights, Ive now got facelift lights.

Does anyone know if it's possible to file out the plates inside the units that create the shape of the beam? it's FAR too intrusive covering almost 50% of the bulb area, I'm sure it could be cut away to give more light.....

Perhaps a task for me tomorow!

Ive got some clear angels for sale that need an adjuster. Bought them for for my A3t but never got round to fitting them. £50.

How did you get one with the filing Nick? I haven't looked at mine, but I guess it will be the same as yours.
