I Just got it very good game, very very realistic and im not even playing on hdmi!
 
The game is very good, it is very realistic and the grafix in HD are mind blowing!!!

Still trying to get enough credits to get an R8!!!

I have the Golf GTI Mk5 at the mo.....Candy White.....very nice!!!
 
The good old golf! i started with the Focus ST, got the silly shoe-zuki then evo, and now i got the skyline gtr34 baby!.....yes its 8am on a saturday...im up...playing! anyway, back to the game hehe :undwech:
 
With this and Grand Theft Auto out next month I think im gonna have to bite the bullet and buy a PS3
 
I got a lovely email from amazon yesterday saying my order of GTV Prologue had shipped to my home in the shire. Handy, in that I'm in South East ****!!!!

No fair!

Someone post something exciting I might not know about the game, just to keep me going til I come home.


Also, try not to practice too much so I might come home and have a chance online!!!!!!!!!!
 
Yo, i got a busy day all day, but dont fear i will be on tonight, no matter what time i get back.....(but dont tell the missus)...lol...

yeh the online gaming is kind of crap in this one but they have promised that in the real thing they will allow you to host games and invite up to 16 friends! However, if you time it right you can have most people you know connect at the same time.
 
How close is this to being finished? I picked it up yesterday and to be honest i'm not blown away.
 
Its ok, im getting a bit frustrated as just seem to be doing the same thing at the mo, trying to get more credits.....i currently have the Integra Type R and the Golf, still saving for the R8 tho!!!
 
I've got the integra a wierd bmw they give you a daihatsu they give you lol and a new style skyline gtr (which i accidentally deleted then had to buy again lol). Saving up gets a bit boring.
 
lol im typing this message on my ps3! hehe u need to just go through all the races 1by1 to find out what car u need to take part then once u done a b and c it will unlock special events thats when u start saving for r8s and so on.

From what ive heard the real thing isn't out till May 2009 :wtf:. I'm prob gonna wait as im well into COD 4 and Need for Speed - Pro street at the moment much to the disgust from the missus who hides both games each night and I have to endure the Hotter and Colder game before actual gaming commences :keule:
 
couldn't wait for the full game to come out, i just had to have a little taster. Brilliant game, alot more realistic in racing to, the older games have always bin a bit of a walk in the park, but that certainly isn't the case with this one !
 
i got the game today i think the steering isnt very realistic and you dont get enough oversteer but quite a good game,i have a integra type r and a gay littel daihatsu thing.lol
 
Apparently the Clio Sport is the car to have, it is currently ripping everyone....so 2 of my mates have told me anyway!!!
 
completed c class now sold up all cars and bought an rx7 which oversteers like hell
 
LOL...I have completed C and am on B at the mo, but just keep doing the easy races to get some money...

Getting very frustrated with it, on the 'S' event, surprise suprise, got to do more saving, round and round and round and round the same oval track,again and again and again and again... Boring !! Doesn't seem like the game progresses very well, just when your on a roll, you hit another wall .....:racer:
 
LOL...i aint playing it at the mo, will try getting on later, all i want to do is save for another beast now!!!
 
I keep being such a ****** lol. First of all i accidentally sold my skyline and had to save up an buy it again. And just now i thought it would be a good idea to save up some cash and turn autosave off after so i could get the feel of a few cars. Bought the M3 had a go in that. Quit game then restarted an bought a tuned clio v6. Quit an restarted again and it was still there. Autosave turns itself back on. Grrr. Now i have a car i dont need so i've gotta save up again. Rant over.

Oh ok, well dont tell anyone, but i heard some dude called Nilz said that the Clio Sport was the car to have.....what a joker!!! LOL
 
I'm amazed how difficult it is to turn the front end in driving the R8. I have even switched from the controller to a Logitech GT Force steering wheel that I bought with GT3 years ago and its not much better. The New Skyline GT seems much better. Just won a BMW tti jobbie so I'm off to try that.

THought the Top Gear test track was supposed to be in the game :-(
 
i got it on friday night from asda and so far have been playin it the majority of the weekend!!! :) have done my C & B licenses and currently half way through A. i want to go online and have a blast but havin a nightmare gettin the online function to work! anyone else had a problem with the online option?
 
Ive actually been slightly dissappointed with GT5P, well I was until I completed Classes A,B and C and opened up S Class and the ability to tune the cars. Now im really enjoying the challenge, imo the game was too easy up till this point, now its got a little tricky and alot more enjoyable.

Im having probs with the update to allow me to go online it gets about half way then fails!

i got it to work this morning, dunno what the problem was but i have been online a few times today and managed two first places and a third. the online racers don't seem to be too bothered about taken each other out just for the hell of it though, can get a bit frustrating when all you want is a clean race! :rulez:
 
Steve, just keep trying, there was a fault with the update to get online and basically all it says is to keep trying and it will get sorted for you.
 
I've bought a TVR Tuscan last night - and am frankly dissapointed with the amount of oversteer achievable..... I mean come on it's a TVR!

Have you turned off all the traction control and have it on proffesional? I can drift the m3 around every corner.
 
Im on A class now, you have to get a few cars for that one dont ya!!!
 
i managed to open up S Class at the weekend and i'm kinda wishin' i hadn't, **** me its difficult! after about 45 minutes of tryin my best position in race 1 was 5th, still tryin' to figure out whats gonna be the best motor to use! :(
