speed warning

just drove from liverpool today and when going over a 110 u get a speed warning and it beeps every time youy slow down and speed up how do you turn it of i know how to do the first 1st but not the 2nd has any 1 got any ideas

mines goes off when i turn the engine off, when i restart it its back to normal

read your manual mate.....you need to press the left hand button near your speed clocks....but there are two speed set operations and not sure entirely what the process is for either from start to finish

shouldn't be doing that sort of speed. Mine comes on when I go over 75mph. Don't want a speeding ticket :busted_cop:

I think he meant he was doing that speed on a private road.... hey wonder if anyones actually been prosecuted after posting something like this on a forum...i know the utube vids have been used before

ive already took the first speed warning off but the second does not work the same as the first dont always speed but if i get the chance i do all so a friend is setting a track day up some time soon if any 1s intrested i will put more details up closer to the time will be £10 entry

I'm not to sure off memory wether mine was the first or the second speeding setting that kept going off, but it was definately annoying, every time it went off i thought i had problems with the car.... the way i stopped mine going off was to set the limit at... i think about 235mph, that way i no it will never go off again... unless perhaps i drive off a cliff by accident !!

it tells you in the manual how to stop both alarms!!
