Well last weekend after the awesome RR day my side molding decided to fall off. ordered a new one at the expense off £70!!! but turned up a completely different color due to weathering etc and looked completely out of place therefore decided to spray the lot satin black like I've wanted too.

Heres the results...

I think I'm going to spray the surround of my grill maybe the rings aswell not sure yet!

Looks good Si
you going the pod?

I like it!

out of interet anyone know colour of the standard trim? mines got a mark so will probably respray it?

Dave

You talking about the bottom door strip or the middle one?

I can't really tell looking at the pictures. If it's the bottom strip, I thought they were satin plastic anyway?

The lower sill trim stuck onto the bottom of the doors are listed as primered which you have to get sprayed, I was telling the parts guy that it's just plastic, and grey plastic coloured as such. I bolted my new one one straight from the box, and the colour matches the back one.

hope so finger crossed the misses doesn't have anything planned so she can film get my grupeM induction kit tomoz also!

just finished polishing the whole car narrowly missing the snow showers the black looks sweet now!

Looks good mate. Tidys her up a treat. Satin black wheels would look a treat now with the ming....

Christ a GruppeM induction kit, you must be feeling rich. I really want one but couldnt justify the massive price tag.

i've worked the price out wrong! bought it on a CC and can't send it back oh well will be able to sell on easily enough if i sell the car!

Totally unrelated, and without reading this thread, I painted my lower parts (on the car!) satin black too!!

Did it at the weekend as my front lower valance looked really grubby due to it being chopped up for FMIC fitment.

Then I decided to do the back and sides too.

Goes nice with my black wheels.

Shame my car isnt black, its volcano black, which in the real world mean "dark grey"

Tell me that is not £380 for just an induction kit.....

its carbon fiber molded heat shield, look at it on the website above
i'm an idiot i know! my bad!
just look at some of the kits they make though! some are £2k:sob:
