These past weeks, there have been 2 events from the local BMW club (which is open to other owners also), both in which I got into the track.

I dont know how many of you are enjoying your S3s on the track....I do! :arco:

Here are some pics from yesterday....for the record, my buddy, with an almost same S3 as mine (hes got 18´ oem RS4s) had the best overall total laps time! Even better than many more powerful cars such as Evos, 911s (including 2 turbos) and an RS4! The event is 3 laps, with cones on the straights to reduce speed. If you touch these cones, you get 5 seconds penalty.

This is my buddies´car!

The RS4 and a 600 hp (yes!!) Porsche turbo! The roar past the straight is similar to a 747 on takeoff.....

There will be many more pics to come! This is just a preview from yesterday and I also have the ones from the other track day! Hope you all like them!

As above...looks a fantastic day, think your mate must be a pretty good driver:racer: Those wheels look huge...very nice & thanks for posting pics:hubbahubba::thumbsup:

Looks like you had a great day out!!!

Good on yer

Where are you from? Obviously these weren't taken in the UK...1. Because all the cars are left hand drive and 2. It's sunny!
Anyway, looks a good day. I'd never take any car of mine anywhere near a trackday, nor would i buy a car that had but it's interesting to see how cars match up on the day.

Cheers.

Paul.

I'd buy a car thats been to the" occasional " track day i wouldn't buy somebodys track day toy! It's why you buy a sporty car , coz you can't give it the full beans and take it to the limit on the public highway!

No spacers! My wheels are 19x8,5 with 48mm offset, so they look like they have spacers (sit about 15mm further out), no rubbing luckily!

Pics are from Argentina. I think on this kinds of cars it is IMPOSSIBLE to find the limits on open roads, they arent strict enough as to push the car! If you are a decent driver, you will not induce any damage to the car, other than some tyre wear and brake pad wear.
