Alright chaps...

There are a couple of threads at the moment about items bought on Ebay. Recently i've been impressed with the 'bargains' (some may disagree!) i've picked up on the bay. In the last 2 weeks alone:

'quattro' badge for the radiator to replace the standard S-line one - £12 and a nice subtle mod.
Solid brushed alloy 6 speed gearknob and gator (new) - £50 (£160incl VAT on vagparts.com)
Set of rubber mats for the front (new auth Audi)...£20

So i just wondered what items the rest of you have managed to hunt down for your car which you're particularly chuffed with?

Cheers.

Paul.

Damn! - I've been looking for one of those gearknobs but not seen a thing. Where did you find that?

Also have you got any pics of it in situ? I'd like to see what it looks like.

I haven't actually fitted it yet as i want to take my time. It involves removing all the surrounding trim etc and if it goes wrong i still need to be able to drive it to work! So i'm looking to fit it this weekend. I'll get you some pics posted when it's done.
I've seen them on Ebay a few times but they always seem to be for the 8L model. Mine was bought off a guy who had bought it and decided not to fit it (thought it'd be too cold on the hands in winter and too hot in summer?! Delicate little flower! Still boxed with clips etc. £50 well spent i think!

Audi S3 keyring supposedly made in silver (S3 logo).

Richbrook tax disc holder with Audi logo on the back.

Richbrook holder, Solid silver quattro keyring!, RNS-E, Double din A4 radio cage, Plug and play radio adapter (concert style connectors to quadlock rns-e).

My RNS-E and also two of the "Blind-dekkel" jobbies from a dude called cargravo. They are the illuminated s-line and audi logo buttons in the image below.

I acquired the rest of the add-ons either from VAGParts or directly from the dealer's parts dept.

I Audi torch to go where my cig lighter goes.

I don't smoke in the car , so the cig lighter is not needed, i keep it in the glove box!

I've used eBay a lot for Audi bits and pieces. The German site can also be handy for locating things too - just use Google Translate to see it in English. And for real bargains, save up and buy just before Christmas (I got my RNS-E in November 2006) :)

Bought:

RNS-E + wiring adapter + antenna: £435
Removal keys for the above: £9
17" Star alloys without tyres: £170
Set of four used Pirelli 9000s: £200
S-Line badge: £12
Rear parcel-shelf sunblind: £28
Headlight/foglight switch (not yet fitted!): £19
Philips Bluevision sidelight bulbs: £8

Sold:

Set of four 16" SE alloys and tyres: £250
Symphony II stereo: £65

Brought a few things off Flea bay, most of which i can't remember how much I paid for though!
