Good afternoon guys...
Have a couple of questions!
Firstly, I am the proud (and very excited) owner of a 57 plate A4 1.8T Sline, dvd nav plus/6disc/ just 4k on the clock!
Managed to haggle the dealer down to £19000 and they're gonna give it the full auto glym treatment with a 10yr guarantee...do you think i got a good deal?

thats enough rambling, the car has the bluetooth functionality but there is an ugly cradle/dock on the dash next to the sat nav... My question is, Am i able to get the cradle removed and still enjoy the bluetooth functionality? Or is that cradle essential for that to work?
Would appreaciate a response from you guys asap as im due to pick up the car on wednesday!

The cradle can be removed, but it will leave two holes. The only way forward is to swap the center console on the B7.

No loss of BT functionality when the cradle is removed.

Thanks for the quick response craig. If you were a bit closer I would come and see you this week! im all the way in w.london. is it fairly straightforward removing the cradle?

cool, I'll be in touch with the dealer tomorrow morning,if they cant do it i will be in touch! How often are you in London? How long would it take to do the job.?

Sorry to jump in with a slightly different question but:- I have just got a new A4 Cab (3.0 quattro) and want to fit a parrot bluetooth unit as I have in all our other vehicles. There does not seem to be a harness adaptor available (it has the Audi-Nav) any ideas on how I can install?
Thanks
Nick

I did look on his site but it does not mention the A4 for bluetooth :(
I'd be VERY surprised if that's true - craig has done more OE Bluetooth retrofits to A4's than some people have had hot dinners!

OE is miles better than Parrot - fully integrates with the MFSW, DIS and (if you have it) RNS-E (sat nav).

Hi Guys,

I have a Bury kit (work fitted it) on my A4 Special Edition, it has MFSW but did not get Bluetooth factory fit. I would love to try and get the Bluetooth but I am being told by the dealers that it must be a factory fit - any help on how to progress.

Cheers
Si

I am being told by the dealers that it must be a factory fit
Most dealers say that - but it is NOT true!!!

I've retrofitted Bluetooth to my last B6 S4 and to my current B7 RS4. If you're in the South I can help you (I'm in Southampton), if you're near Manchester craigyb can help you and if you're near Newcastle TDiAvant can help you.
