I have a standard S3.

Unless I'm full on driving (we all know that cannot be done too often) the suspension is just too hard.

Anyone done anything to theirs to improve the overall ride comfort?

Here's hoping, or another car will be up for sale!

It sounds to me you keep buying the wrong sort of cars mate? sporty cars always have hard suspension!

Maybe you could try some adjustable damper/shocks, Koni FSD's are highly rated.

didnt you take it for a spin before you bought it? I found the S3 suspension to wishy woshy when driving hard, so uprated the springs and ARB's

I love a hard ride, but that is not the problem I am having. Its the choppy low speed ride that disappoints. On the test drive which was a long one, approx 2 hours, I was pushing the car to see if it would be acceptably fast enough after the V8 RS4. It ticked all the boxes with the much lower running costs.

Its only in real use that the low speed problem becomes apparent.

It IS a bit bumpy at low speed. I find myself swerving to miss manhole covers but hey, you cant have it all ;)

I think you could lose some belly weight flaps :jump:(only joking!!!)..
Most of the Audis are way to harsh on the springs , the only one that was just right funnily enough was the RS4, but then you'd agree there probably.
I must admit the M4 is a git especially around your area; that bit past the caldra is ridiculous and has shaken me senseless in every car .
I defy anyone to even change the radio channel over this piece of road at 75!; its that bad.

I have heard eibach springs or H&R which are progressive are good but dont know anyone who has done it on an S3 new shape...

I actually find the suspension should be a bit firmer... after £10k it seems to have soften a bit or is it just me?

Any ideas / sugestions?

Pedro

^^^^^Snap! I should have the H&R's on this week!:)
