OPEN DAYS!

This coming weekend (the 29th and 30th of March) we will be running two back to back open days at our premises in Kintore. The days will run from 11am to 3pm, and we will be putting on a series of demonstrations on claying and machine polishing using both dual action and rotary machines. We will also be running some very special spring offers and will be able to give one to one advice throughout the day to anyone requesting it. Previous events like this have always been a great success, and we are really looking forward to meeting up with a lot of you and providing the opportunity for a lot of like-minded enthusiasts to mingle and talk shop! We have ample parking on site for up to a hundred cars, and car clubs are very welcome to attend.

THE CHALLENGE!

Here is the scrap panel we propose to clay and correct (half each day)...

The question is, can we do it?! Ignoring the scratches and stone chips that are through to the primer/panel, we reckon we can get it 98% corrected. If you want to see us tackle it, then feel free to come along and watch!

SPECIAL OFFERS!

We will finalise the list of specials on Friday this week (based on stock levels at the end of the week), but these two offers will definitely be running over the course of the weekend (attendees only)...

1. FREE Poorboys Ultimate Mega Towel with every purchase of Raceglaze '55'

2. FREE Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towel with every purchase of Raceglaze '42'

3. FREE Wheel Back Brush with every purchase of two Clear Wash Buckets

DIRECTIONS!

woah....didnt realise you were that far away.... would have liked to nip up there too:(

that would be a great meet ya know....rolling road and a detailer present with a demo:anbet:..... make the day a bit more interesting..... although id love a track day in the summer:drool:

Rich,

You shouldn't have wasted the money on the scrap vectra bonnet, I bet there are a hundred volunteers with donor cars that would let you do half their cars each day!!!:p

Unfortunately had I been at home i would have only been 10 minutes away but the boss has me grafting down in Brunei!:sob:

Maybe i could pm my address and you could DWOC my car?

I hope to see pix of the event so I know ive missed a great event!

I wish I were closer too and open the product offer online. I would definately have the buckets and just bought a silver car so need to order some Jeffs anyway.

Are you starting to stock Raceglaze products now?

Lol, it takes us 20+ hours to do full details these days, and we have just 4 hours each day... so half a bonnet is enough ta! Seriously though, the issue is space; our unit is small once 40-50 people have crammed in, so having a car inside is a no no, whereas a bonnet in the corner is just fine!

C'est la viw, we have to run something on the day to make it appealing! But it is a shame we are a long way from a lot of our customer base...

On the Raceglaze front, we have tested the waxes and have been pleased enough with them to put them in the store; the '55' in particular is mightily impressive. :icon_thumright:

In a word - brilliant! Best estimate is that around 150 folk turned up over the course of the two days. The saturday was very busy early on and tailed off, but Sunday was steady all day long. The demo's went well, results can be seen below, and as always we are very grateful to everyone who turned up and dug deep to give us a record sales figure for the weekend! :icon_thumright:

By the end of the Saturday, this is what we had achieved on the bonnet...

looks good... nice red edit...

looks cold too! ;)

And you did 'training' ... nice touch.. glad to hear it was a success. Massive result on the split polished hood.

Maybe with your record sales weekend you could buy a table or work bench to stick your next bonnet on!! :p
