Dont know what to do about alloys refurb or MTM Bimotos, what you think ??

i do like that, is yours ming blue or black?

and have you got a side shot of your car ?

Looking good bud, loving the RNS-E upgrade. How difficult was it to DIY?

RNS-E Looks good man does it still have the dash display of the track/station? also with the nav does it display your next turn on the dash?

I've got some SuperT's to go on mine when the current tyres wear out. Always liked them but a real pain to keep clean.

ming blue nice one, so it mine

i think i want 3 things from your car,

your grill, LCR spiltter, and rns-e

how did you do the grill ?

grill trim can be removed with the grill still on car just pull from the inside edge till you get it started just take your time, i sanded it with some wet and dry and sprayed 4 coats of Plasti-kote matt black super enamel spray paint from Halfords matches really well and seems pretty tough !

oh and how much did the rns e setup cost you ?

RNS-E £430 Ebay from uk seller
double din cage £60 Audi dealer
gps antenna £10 ebay
2008 nav disc downloaded ISO
already had vag com to code it
parts for ipod lead £5.50 plus old 3/5 mm lead i had
fitted all myself

Not that hard to do !!
well worth the effort looks soo good...

Keep the OZ

MTMs are well common on S3s now, loving the look of the OZs, I had thought about them

More pics ;)

nice mate liking the grill, got any side on pic of the wheels?

Ok, gotta be honest, those OZs look **** from a dead side on!

Dunno why but they look purposeful from the front etc... hmm... not a choice for me now

Nice upgrade with the RNS, how easy was the climate unit to get out? and do you have a part number for the replcement smaller unit?

pic is not good phone camera they do look different in the flesh and most wheels have been on sooo many S3's will post better pics of them, but i am in 2 minds about them...!
climate panel releases on 2 clips panel in pic is the original unit just shaved down to fit i have a template if you want one.! just cover panel with masking tape draw round template onto tape, cut most of excess plastic of with a dremel or hacksaw blade and then sand or plane to shape, i used a small hand plane looks a bit like a cheese grater!!!
if you are thinking of doing RNS upgrade PM me for info......

ahh man, i love your car so much, and gave me ideas as mine is ming blue,

am not to keen on the wheels tho, may look different in flesh

i do love the grill, and rnse tho :)

Yeah I know what you mean, Ive got some Brocks on mine that alot of people dont seem keen on, but I like them and think they suit it well. Think the problem is that any wheel in 18" looks tiny from dead side on with an S3, blame those arches!

Will be looking at RNS upgade so will bear you in mind when I get round to it.

I dont think all 18's look too small on the S3.

I considered the Oz's before getting my BBS's. I think the OZ's will look better when the car is lowered.

actually they dont look bad at all, maybe need to be lowered

I would defo lower the car first before deciding to change wheels. A guy on here had some of the TT Sport wheels (similar look to the OZ's with lots of spokes)fitted to an S3 they didnt look right until he lowered the car, then they looked spot on imo.

Sorry, still think they look small on there! The arches are so big even totally flat faces wheels seem lost in them

Always wondered what r32 wheels would look like.... anyone have any pics?

I dont personally but dont think they looked amazing on R32s, one of my many reasons for not choosing one!

Mind you I run Brocks on mine so I know nothing about taste!
