I personally dont like anything to do with Honda after an experience i had with Honda at Crewe.
Father in law 70 years old books his 04 civic at this dealer for a 20k service at 28 months old (without me knowing unfortunately) returns home in his courtesy car which he had to put petrol in cos the light was on.
He then recieves a call saying his brakes require attention so he gives them the go ahead (unfortunately).
Picks his car up the following day and gets hit with a £680 bill.
Pensioner ripoff comes to mind as soon as i hear.
I contact them and ask to see the service manager, the techy who worked on the car and the parts that were replaced.
The techy's on hols, the parts have been scrapped and the waste of good oxygen service manager aint gotta clue.
He suggests corrosion i ask to veiw, he then suggests heavy braking and i fall to the floor laughing.
To cut a long story short i wrote to Honda and they backed the dealer and the dealer came back with nothing.
I contemplated going further but decided we would just cut our losses.
It didnt go back there for its soon due 1st MOT and wont ever go back again.
I am a qualified engineer and have been for 30 years in the automotive industry and to have some dealer service manager telling me that heavy braking and a 70 year old careful driver did the damage was a joke.
If Honda ever buy VW i will go back to Vauxhall.
BEWARE OF THE HONDA DEALER IN CREWE AND THE DEAD HEAD SERVICE MANAGER WHOM I COULD NOT GET TO MEET FOR 2 WEEKS.
I stood in the showroom on my 1st visit and didnt want to fall out with the girl on reception and nobody came to see me from the service dept.
