What do we think of these? This car topped the JD Power survey for a couple of years running - got to be good:

yeah, freely revving engine, drop top, reliable... plus VBH had one and I am strangly attracted to her sometimes!?!!

Great car at the right time on the right bit of road, however, it is all about revs

My opinion is that Honda engines are great. Respect for these high revs engines.

I love them. Nearly bought a white 04 plate import that'd had turbo conversion last yr. Was a really good price. It'd been involved in a very minor accident. Just needed a tiny bit of panel work/paint.

I went home to think about it. Phoned about about 2hrs later to say i'd have it & somebody else had been & put a deposit on it shortly after i'd left!! ****** typical!!

Wasn't fussed for 2 long tho as I ended up buying the Evo shortly after:arco:

Craig:cool:

You have to respect the Great Engine and Faultless Reliability. Does that make it cool? or perhaps to boring?

I think it's cool, it is a thinking mans roadster.

One of the few soft tops a bloke can get away with driving imo. Great car!

You found that too?
I'm 6'3" and found I didn't have enough legroom in it.

Shame...as I really fancied one.

Exactly the same here - I went with my mind made up to buy one. Couldn't fit in the thing to give it a test drive (6'4''). Gutted at the time - not so gutted now.

Its one of my top 10 fav cars....... but I think its a bit uncool.....

Really like these.
Apart from Boxtser S its the only roadster I could see myself in.
Quite cool too IMO.

Great car. Production has been stopped i think and the predecessor the S3000 has been cancelled. stupid credit crunch:whip:

the Boxter S is seriously cr@p ! Sorry but its true.
:scared2: controversial!

I had a 20min blast in one a few years back and thought it was great. Bit more ordinary inside that I was expecting.

Whether its cool or not is another matter.
Each to their own I suppose.

Paul

Just sold a mint one, didn't have it long, hits 9k rpm, mine had mods done so very quick but changed it for a more relaxing car. I had an induction kit on it which sounded mad but you look like a lunatic doing 6 to 9k rpm to get the noise and in London that's impossible, but it wont breakdown and has few things to worry about.

I've had a new 2002 and 2005 S2000, in std and GT variant, loved them both so my answer is subzero :)
