Hi all,
Thinking of buying a 2011 Audi A5 Black Edition in manual non-quattro, and noticed Audi offered the petrol 2.0 TFSI in two power variations; 180 and 211. This seems odd to me and I'm scratching my head.

Does anyone know why Audi did this?
What exactly are the differences between them, is one running less boost?
Are there are any other differences between them (eg bigger brakes)?

Thanks in advance
Donny

Why? at a guess (without looking at the figures) lower emissions which means lower BIK for company car drivers. Possibly lower road tax too. Audi (as with all manufacturers) tune for a particular customer, not max power. If they did tune for max power, they'd tune my car (S5) for 500+hp rather than the 333 it comes with from factory.

Great choice. I'm looking at the Black Edition plus A5 in an automatic quattro petrol. Hardly any around. Almost everyone for some strange reason got theirs in diesel!

Yeah it's a waiting game. Make sure you have the alerts on Autotrader and eBay mate :)
