A6 C7 paint correction

Well I (and the mrs) finally got around to sorting the shocking paintwork out on our 20k mile, supplied approved from Audi, daily work horse. It's a lot bigger than the other cars, 13 hours work!

I have never used the gtechnic, how did you get on applying it? I have read about how important the application is with overlapping and making sure it is buffed off.
My car is silver so I think it would be more difficult to see? It is ok at the moment as the previous owner had it detailed from new with crystal serum and exo and it is lasting well.

A lot of what you read was on exo v2. I did that on the RS4 and it was hard work and i had to spot polish some bits that i missed even buffing 3 times.

Good news is the v3 i used yesterday is really simple, massive difference. Use 2 cloths, 1 for an intital buff then another for a second pass. The garage hasnt got the best light (hence the lamp for double checking) but has come out spot on with minimal effort.
