Contact Recode tuning out there as there a REVLIMIT agent and have tuned TTE500 and TTE420 cars

RS3 8V TTE500 from MRC Tuning

Only hardware. TTE500 turbo, Large downpipe with large racecat, Wagner intercooler and filter.

503ps and 649nm

TTE500, built engine, full exhaust, Forge FMIC, HPFP.

With the MRC Stage3 Remap it did 522ps 734nm

Very similar both great. I use forge as it leaves top air damn to let more air through to radiator for aussie conditions

Hi thanks! The weather in Malaysia is terrible, definitely need to get a intercooler!! Still haven't decide which to get. I saw people from forum said that the Wagner evo3 ic will loss pressure and causing loose boost due to intercooler restriction. Are this real?

Not sure. There is a slight pressure loss but its due to how huge the intercooler is. I wouldnt worry anyway as if your going big turbo your going to have the ecu pull boost before the turbo hits its maximum so youll always be limited by the ecu till they crack the boost limiter.

Let's say I'm getting a forge intercooler now , in future I'm changing bigger turbo , do I need to change to a bigger intercooler ? Is forge enough for the bigger turbo? Thanks for the advice bro! Much appreciate

Sure is. Alot are running tte500 and beyond with fantastic results as the same with wagner.

We are testing right now our new TTE6XX 2.5TFSI hybrid turbo upgrade using a Wagner Evo 3 on a RS3 8P

The forge IC is a very good intercooler also as proven may times as is the Wagner EV0 3

When will we hear more about the tte6xx? Will it fit the rs3 8v? Whats the spool like compared to tte500.
Also can we run stock internals and leave output to only 540hp?

610 on pump fuel is safe and no more than 720nm. Dont go further without a built motor.

Tte, does the ttrs 8s use the same intercooler and crash bar so we can fit the current wagner and forge intercooler from the 8v in it?

My aim is around 650hp* on 98oct. Possibly 800hp if drivabilty isn't effected too badly.

If 800hp I would be looking at Rods for sure likely Pistons, Studs (AF gasket if available?) - Then not sure if I'd consider new valves springs / ti retainers and a new cam. Whiles it's out it might as well all be done properly. But if it doesn't need it...


But at 800bhp start looking at shearing drive shafts, gearbox issues ect will be more prone. I could be wrong as I haven't had much feedback from RS3 owners apart from whats on here.

There is no rule but 550+ for me maybe wise to think on Pistons and rods.

No idea on new EFR really as not tested on 2.5tfsi. TTE500 is proven for many years as robust and solid with good performance gains.

What other benefits does the TTE500 give over a stock turbo? Can't decide to go stage 2 on stock or go tte.

More power and torque really is real world gains. Could argue more durable at higher boost levels as is balanced to higher standard and is fitted with BorgWarner motorsport bearings

Hey now that the first rs3 has the TTE625 in is it possible of upgrading the stock turbo to a 625 ? And how much ? Can we run it at low boost with stock internal ??
