I've searched an seen a few threads on eibach lowering springs. But there are no good pics of them on a4.

ive got a 2006 b7 1.9tdi sline. sits very high at front and low at back.

i would like a nice subtile even drop all round as use car for work. 40mm all round would be nice.
Are the eibach sport line 50/40mm the best for this? Don't want coilovers.

would anyone have a pic of their Sline with the sport line springs in and a pic of the pro kit in to compare.

seen h&r 45mm also. Which would be best for what I want?

really appreciate help.

Pic if how car sits.

Those options mentioned or fit some B5 spring perches to lower the front 15mm so it looks balanced with the rear.......this is on my to-do list this year

What are the b5 perches mate? is that where the spring sits into the top of the shock?

Id say front needs at least another 30mm to look level with back as car sits like back to front hot rod

Eibach 50/40 split on the s-line will give you a 30 mil drop on the front and 20 mil drop on the back

First picture is after the springs had been on 2 weeks and dropped nicely

Cheers mate. appreciate the pics.

My back end of car looks lower than yours with the eibach's in mate. Would that be worn springs in my rear or shocks maybe. I like the way my car sits at back but wouldnt want it to raise when eibach springs put in.

Any chance you could send me a few more pics to ruairimeleney@gmail.com mate.

really appreciate it.

This is mine with Eibach 50/40 Springs on....

It Drives SO much nicer than the standard S-Line springs aswell, so its a win win all round.
I did think of also fitting the B5 perch plates on the front but i think that would of ruined what i have as it drives so nice now and looks alot better.....

thats me sold from that pic mate. That looks so sweet. I am going online to order them now mate. Did you do the rs4 arb at reAr? Thanks mate. What tyres have you on? I've got 235/40/18 do you think they will rub?cheers

What's the lowest you can lower the front on the sline with these springs with these perches? I find the front arch so high, there must be a good 60-70mm gap standard on from the tyre to the arch

I just ordered the sport line eibach springs from Germany. £138 posted within a week. Saved £28 from uk eBay sellers
as long as my 235/40/18 tyres dot rub il be happy as don't want slammed look I just want a nice subtile drop.

You will be fine with those tyre sizes mate....

The Eibach 1.9tdi and 2.0tdi springs are the same.

Would recommend shortened dampers and rs4 rear anti roll bar too if your budget permits.

There was two different part numbers one or 2.0 and one for 1.9 mate

I got shortened dampers on mine. Rs4 rear anti roll bar I've heard about before, what difference does it make? Might invest in one if its worth it

The part number is E10-15-003 for both. Mine's a 1.9tdi b6 and took second hand springs from a 2.0tdi b7

Stiffens up the rear to reduce understeer helping with cornering etc, my friends had his done so can't comment much from personal experience but he loves it.

Hi Tiffy,

How's the car sitting on these springs a year down the line? I'm currently in the dilemma of choosing between eibach pro (-30mm) vs eibach sport line (-50/40mm). I am worried that after a year or so the 50/40's may have settled in a little too low for my personal preference. Is it still the same as your original picture? How's is the ride when the cars got four people and a boot full of luggage, does it bottom out at all?

Regards
Steve

What spec is your A4?

Damian @ DPM Performance

With the S-line model you'll need to take off around 15-20mm from any quoted drop so the Pro kit would only give you around a 10mm further drop on top of what you already have.

Will both the sport line and pro kit fit on the standard springs as don't have the budget to change them?

Yeah sorry bit early this morning lol
lol, yes they do. Best thing about keeping genuine dampers is you can use the b5 perches to drop the front down a little further so car is nicely levelled.
