Hello All,

Im after an Induction Kit for my 2.0 TFSI but I cant seem to find any on the net. I can only find replacement Panel Filters.
Has anybody seen any anywhere?

Hope this helped

AudiA420098EC [2004-2011] SaloonSaloon2.0 TFSI1984ccm 170HP 125KW (Petrol)

that not it?
admittedly im more of an a3 guy, so could be gettn confused lol

I WANT IT! Nice price though! I normally go for K&N but they don't seem to do a kit for the B8 2.0TFSI.

That works out at £287 but the retailer in the UK has just swapped the $ sign for the £ sign and charging £449!!!!!!I have just emailed the company in the US asking if they post to the UK. We should see if they will do us a deal if we buy 2?!!!! ...........or Group Buy anybody????? ;)

Now if i can just persuade my wife that its someting I 'need' and the car 'must have' then put me down for 1. Anyone got any experiences of these? Noticeable difference or is it just an aesthetic mod?

Awesome GTI sell the APR Carbonio stuff. I think it's quite highly regarded on the tuning scence but it's kinda pricey.

Hi,
Why bother with an induction kit.in my opinion thy are a waste of money.
But you can buy a Carbonio induction kit from Apr, and Awesome for around £420.00.
I have got an ITG panel filter in my car and it does run and respond alot better than a standard air filter.
This was the first mod I done to my car.
I would put the £420.00 into a Revo remap and as there is an offer of 20% off a remap at the moment It will only cost you another £59.00, a total of £499.00. Now believe me this transforms the car and is worth spending money on.
The offer is on until the end of the month.
The ITG panel filter number is HMP-631.

Try ebay search bsr audi i have one on my b7 think they fo b8 as well sounds good and its a well made kit they are big in the saab tunning world (which prob aint that big and getting smaller by the day lol) you can hear it but its not ott

APR
BSH
Carbonio
all good no increse in bhp but all make a nice noise

As I've said above, APR are charging a hell of a rip off price for the carbonio!!!!! I'm just after a K&N Induction Kit. They seem to make a lit for every other 2.0TFSi VAG car but not the B8, which seems weird considering its popularity.

Induction kits for the B8 are still thin on the ground. In fact the only options around the world are the APR Carbonio from the US (£430), the BSR from Sweden (£160) and the K&N Typhoon from the US (£330).

Having read all the reviews from the US, the K&N Typhoon has the best reviews. I was impressed by the slight increase in throttle response from the K&N panel filter I have so I'm hoping for slightly better things from the cone filter. For some reason K&N don't sell this kit in the UK.

I will post up my results after fitting.

Well that's new! Certainly towards the end of last year when I looked they weren't selling it and when I contacted them last year they said they didn't have any plans to sell the kit in the UK! Must gave changed their minds now. Interesting to note though, that it says it's not suitable for right hand drive models! Don't know why that would be!

Anyway my kit is on its way, so I'm hoping to receive it and fit it this weekend. I will post a guide/pics/videos up.

estimated i doubt the 13.5 hp gain

every cai iv used has lost hp not much but between 2 and 5 hp
thats with carbonio and k&n
Yeah thats right. Normally you only get something around 5bhp increase in power. Apparently the claimed 13.5bhp is due to the 2.0 TFSi being quite restricted and detuned as standard.

I ordered my one from the US.

Well got my induction kit fitted today. Abit of a fiddly job but got it fitted ok in the end.
What a noise it makes! You can hear the sucking in of the air with the dump valve making a fluttering sound like a rally car, on the gear change or lift off. It's not too loud as to sound like a boy racers car.

Used to have one on my Escort Rs turbo and loved it. I would like one but £300 quid is a little bit excessive for an air filter :(

Thanks for the heads up. I could knock one up for a lot less than that but it would not look very pretty !

Lads need yer help, Im looking all over the place for a K&N filter, just rang them and they said that they are not for right hand drive (don't know why this is , guessing its something to do with the steering column)
Any way 2009 A4 SE 2.0 diesel any help appreciated ?

Here's what it looks like installed:

Hi mate, I purchased the typhoon kit for my 2.0TDi A4 B8 Avant. When it came to fitting it I noticed that there is an electrical plug underneath the factory air box and the OE inlet hose also has another pipe attached to it, and I noticed that there is another small pipe running alongside the factory box - the instructions do not mention these at all, and so I abandoned the mission! I know these kits are for LHD cars, but I thought I'd give it a go. How did you overcome these issues, is it because my car is a TDi and not a petrol?? Any help would be great, as I'm considering returning the kit, but that would be a shame. cheers

Can I ask where you got it from?
