2.5tdi FWD on 166k serviced every 8k still on origional cams, no sign of ware on them. Just replaced all my front suspension arms with meyle HD though as all had a little play In them

I bought it from a friend who’s family had owned it from new. It’s was just about run in with 292k on it when I got it.

I’ve spent a bit on it, new intercoolers, new clutch and flywheel, new front pulley, new springs and it’s on its 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] set of tires. It’s going in tomorrow for some rear shocks as it sits really low at the back and bounces around a bit.

I only ever took it on as a stop gap but I now feel than I can’t get rid of it as it doesn’t do anything wrong. It regularly gets loaded up with firewood, tools, horse feed or rugby players and yet still it keeps on going.

That said, I’d be lying if I said it had always been well looked after. Even after taking this picture of the previous owner I still bought it!
