Regarding the prop bolts, is that the 3 to the transfer box?
If so, i have replaced mine, but jason told me there was something silly like 6 options for the bolts, all different lengths, and pitches i think. So i measured my old ones so i could order the right ones. Just make sure you have the right length, and yeh, loctite the **** out of them.

yeah its on the donut, the 3 that go in from the transfer box side, so not easy to get at

Ive never changed them, but over the last 10 days ive had 2 come loose, the one today was still caught but was making the donut squeek as it turned, i will see how it lasts and if they come loose again i will treadlock them, and if they come lose after that i will weld the ****ers in there lol

Wooo 1 yr 3 months, to update Ron was broken, everything was sold and i walked away even(ish) Si is loving the Brembos and gearbox

me, well ive now got a couple mk4 golfs, still got the mk5, added a Bay window to the list, own a mk1 cabb (20vT) on paper until its signed ove to the customer and just bought a 57 plate 8P (my new best car ) the R8 is a while off although ive got one in for an exhaust upgrade

anyway, thought i should pop my head in and update this, at some point will add the pics of Ron on his way to the bridge

Yes brembo's gearbox and mani all doing well dude, loving the car running it in has been fun so far, and Ron lives on under the bonnets of others

Si, your Manifold has some race history, it was on Prawns car for a while and was sorted by S3Dave (rip )

Ron was lots of fun, i do miss him but on the same count seeing Si's TQS come together makes up for it tbh

I think Phil just had some porting done on it from beach buggy turbos and a 10 actuator from what I can remember him telling me

It was a little porting as Si said apart from that it was just one of thoses things tbh, as you can tell, i never set out to build anything like how it ended, but that said the results were very very good and i did have a few issues along the way

Si's TQS is built (almost) to the same spec as Ron, im expecting to see around 300 from his, the only difference was my turbo had BBTs fingers on it, that is the only difference

I do miss Ron, but now ive had a couple customers want me to build there engines its made up for not having Ron, the 2 ive done most recently are being mapped soon, one in 2 weeks time, so im looking forward to the results

Yes I should have dude, but then I wouldn't have seen what goes into doing one etc, it's a never ending process though
