right, I have the garrett gt2554r on its way and thinking of pairing it with the garrett gt2871r .86 but worried it wont make the 550 power I want.
so whats your thoughts on gtx3072?
i also went to pods last weekend and it just makes me want to build a mental track car!
any ideas on size of wastegate from gt2554r? I was thinking trial 44mm

seen as n one seems to have a clue. I justmake it up as I go along! it all works out in the end
gona use Gt2554r for first Hp turbo
and Gt2871r for second Lp turbo
going to modify the jabbasport underslung exhaust manifold to cater an external 44 or 50mm wastegate to Lp turbo.
weld the Hp turbo rod of the internal wastegate shut.
external wastegate on the Lp turbo.not thought of yet!

Not with out welding an outlet on... the design of the collector doesn't lend itself to work well with an external gate and tbh you will gain very little doing it on this mani... you would still end up with a crap manifold either way... when it cracks (as it will) you would only have to do it all again...

My problem is the forge/Owens actuator physically unscrewing the treads and coming loose so I'm considering external. Reliability is the main issue here.
