Should any TQS owner wish to give up there standard wheels I'd be happy to take them off your hands. Tyre condition irrelevant.

Cheers for the link mate, however, I feel they will go for silly money! Ideally after a bargain but they don't seem to exist anymore! I was watching a set on eBay a few months back and they went for £82, rubbish phone signal robbed me of winning that auction!

£100 was my upper limit like.

Wheel and tyre condition are't really a concern so long as the wheels aren't buckled or cracked. I was going to have them refurb'd at Aerocoat, up the road from me, in the Mk4 Golf anniversary BBS RC finish.

Those wheels in the link above will go for around £200-£250 I reckon.

Well if you could keep your eye out or hear of anyone breaking a TQS or has a set if OE wheels, please point them in my direction.

Id sell mine but im holding on to them as there ET35 theres someone on ebay selling them at £40 a rim and he has et35 ones just not sure if he has full set.

Damn! I remember keeping an eye out when I had my b5 TDI Avant but I went for a set of S8 wheels instead. I do like the TQS wheels though, especially polished up, uber cool!

I like them alot and think sometimes 'should i change them or not' if i did i would keep them as winters anyway

It's probably the nicest one piece OE wheel I've seen. Really fancy a set now? Did you polish them yourself?

Beware the polished lip will be ruined within 12months unless it properly done and cleaned/protected from the elements

Well if I had a set in that good of condition they would be summer wheels only and cleaned weekly.

The littlest of stone chips will ruin them and cause them to 'spider web' but then i guess if you went the polished route id be getting a few extra coats of lacquer !!

Yes I still have the center caps for them.
Ill get pictures of the actual wheels for you. I think that might be them but I had 3 sets at one point.. so its hard to say what set I kept hold off

Im sure I should have a set of 288mm calipers and carriers somewhere ill see if I can find them. they might need a strip down and clean with sitting though.

Ok mate, nice one . Scope the wheels out see what you have. As for calipers, have a look and see what state they're in, if they need a good overhaul I'll probably pass as I need to keep spend to a minimum. What price you thinking for the wheels bearing in mind postage. Cheers mate.

. Ive got a set all good tyres all spoke are clean but behind them is a bit dirty, only took them off as i put 7 spoke audi a8/a6 wheels .

I have set of 5 can supply bet pics if interested 150 for the 4 wheels or 170 if you want all 5

It's funny you say that, I had the exact same wheels from an A8 on my b5 TDI Avant. Just left them silver, car was white, they looked really nice. Good OEM+ mod.

I agree. My s4 wheels i just got powder coated are too dark. I wanted them grey and they're dark, so i'm selling them on. back to Silver for me! Hence why I wanted some more boleros!
