Why you not going Scott??

We have talked about setting up a creche at work, which would be awesome, i dont think it will progress, but if it does it would be brill!!

I did bring him in last week, he was just sat at my desk playing on my phone, so that was ok :)
 
Money really mate.
The wife's getting made redundant next week so having to curb most spendings.
I need tyres and insurance next month as well.

If you got the space and such for kids, do it.
If they are well enough behaved that is it.

What do you want me to do, reply to myself!?

How is everyone? I'm in my 3rd week of the new job and loving it so far. Just hope they will renew my contact after the initial 6 months.

I'm also on wedding countdown! I get married two weeks on Friday. Spent about 2 hours slowly puttin together my speech at the weekend and I'm only about halfway through so more to do this weekend.

I think AITP is on while I'm away to get married so I won't be there. I've not been to the new venue yet.

Hows the workload looking?
If its still busy there is a greater chance of them keeping you.
That is kind of obvious though lol

I never pre-wrote my speech really, I just sent my best man some random lines of people I got to thank and odd jokes. All of which I forgot one the day and said what popped in to my mind on the day and I still forgot to thank the bride maid.
Don't be one of them Groms who read it all from a bit of paper or a tablet. It comes across with no heart or feeling. Use it as notes but don't read it. It sounds pap.

AITP is this sunday, the 10th.

I'm well busy at the moment but the company I'm with is looking to cut down the amount of contractors they have by the end of the year. They might offer me a full time roll but after 6 months of contractor pay I think I'd rather move on and find another role.

I'll only use my paper as notes for my speech. It's all in my head somewhere! It's the only bit of the wedding that I'm scared of!

I am here on Sunday but I've made plans this weekend so won't be heading to AITP. If it wa still down the road at Wickstead Park I probably would have popped along.

Getting our no sofa and cuddle chair (I call it the Xbox chair) on friday but it wont fit through the door into the front room or hall way.
So we having the front window removed. The window fitter thinks we can get it through by just removing the glass but I'm not convinced and preparing for a whole frame removal.
O joy!!

Weathers getting a bit poop again. Start of the dodgy weather for the next 6 months.
Mrs will be annoyed that she can't get out in the garden anymore, been eating homegrown chillis this week. Awesome.

Finished night shift this morning, not back in again till Mon. Woohoo.
Feeling like a zombie after only 4 hours sleep.

Just chillin now after knocking up a new jungle gym for the cats.
Had a store bought one but once the rain got into it, it fell apart
Thought I'd just make them one, went a bit OTT in the end.
They better ****** use it know. Lol.

Hows everyone finding the new site. Looks better, just trying to find my way about now.

new site is a bit fuzzy at the min, posts go missing etc! well has for me anyway!
cant get into cats scott, there a bit too shifty for me mate!
i like dogs,you get more value from dogs!
cant throw a stick and get a cat to return it, or wrestle with a cat for fun without being seriously injured!
dogs are way better!, however, i will not hold it against you! (even though there a bit womanly)
;)
anywho, moving on, it is a bit quiet in here isn't it!
i blame dave! the sod!

My cats are just a pair of savages, I'm suprized theres any wildlife left round here.
They are definetly not as social as dogs but working shifts cats are better for me.

Yeah, think the new site will take a wee bit to get used to. So shiney!!

my life is good at the minute, i just ordered some new posh wellies to walk the dog today as my le chameau's have cracked, i have been promoted, and loving it, managed to clench a cracking deal with sky, they upgraded my tv and give me fibre optic for £2........ (fcn scammers.)...... and just booked up a weekend spa break in september!, to get all rubbed up by random women, paid in advance with no happy ending!
(i will enquire)
oh and well done on the splicing fred! :thumbs up:
 
Went out to a 40th birthday last night. Was like walking into an episode if shameless. Think I missed the table with the free drugs that everyone else seemed to have enjoyed.

Hi all.

Busy as **** at the moment. Managed to find a facelift bonnet for my car in the same colour so I should be able to sort out the front end soon. Might help me get some love for the car!

Heading to the Nurburgring this weekend for a mates birthday.

I'm good mate, you? Using work time to look for a set of tyres... Weather is holding up here, apparently thunder storm last night but I was out cold.

I recently got a set of Firestone SZ90's they are awesome mate and a really good price too, defo recommend them.
 
Never looked at them... Considering eagle f1. Decent price, decent handling as I've used them before. £105 per corner fitted
 
I had them before, they were really good, also had Conti 5s and Bridgestone Potenzas, i think the best out of all of them was the Bridgestones personally, however the Firestones I have on now are really good, they have a funky tread design on them and i think i got them for £75 per corner.

Noise isnt bad, handling in the wet and dry is excellent and tyre wear is really good too, I would defo consider them Jay.

I still think Michelin PS3s are the best road tyre money can buy but they are a fair bit more then most.

Had a great weekend at the ring last weekend. It's just made me want to buy a new car now!!!!
 
The ps3s are only £3 more per corner compared to eagle f1 down my way... Looking at reviews I got the impression the the eagles were have slightly better grip. Would love PSS but over budget
