My drive yesterday.

Nice line up :)

Still think the lapis blue on the Golf R is too dark. Even looks too dark in the piccy & that's in bright sunlight

IMO VW should have kept the lighter coloured rising blue from the Mk6 Golf R

As always, just my opinion of course ... :salute:

Hello all,
This is my first time posting in the forums.

I got my A3 about a month ago, it has a 1.2 TFSI petrol engine, the color is scuba blue.
I'm from Costa Rica, I don't know if this version is available in Europe, this is an entry level version of the A3.

I will post some thoughts on it vs the 1 Series it replaced when I've had chance to drive it properly :)

They do look shinier, probably just the light in the photo.

The saloon does suit white, that would be my next choice after the Reds.

As I posted briefly elsewhere, I collected my new S3 around lunchtime today. I am over the moon with the colour choice and well pleased with the options I selected. :arco:

I'll have a couple more from outside later but right now I have to go and feed my wife and mother.

After ordering then I'm sure I'll have a nightmare of the cover coming of, and it's the wrong colour. After months of waiting.

REB154 - absolutely love the car but.....just don't like the wheels. I do see however that they match very well with the chrome.

Enjoy it - it's a fantastic thing :s3addict:

REB154 - Love the car and the wheels look really good. Still not sure if I want them for my 3dr or the standard S3 wheels. My build is locked with the S-lines, but dealer says he will swap for S3.

I'll be asking them to leave out the cover, but I want a free Audi teddy bear :)
My dealer doesn't like the cover thing, says he's known them to inflict scratches. So my car was roped off, but not under a cover :)

Same for me. Roped off.

Didn't stop some old boy trying to get in it and putting his hand on the glass to get a good look in side. All during pick up......

When I told him it was sold and to please (respectfully) leave it alone he said "its a boy racers car.....not for me"

Can't make it up

A roped off section to keep customers away from my PAJ will be just fine, I'll get the paperwork signed, then I'll be on my way thanks.
But seriously, I want one of those bears.....for my dog to play with :)

I can imagine the cover getting dragged out a cupboard, thrown over your car and then getting dragged across your lovely new paintwork....ouch!

Agreed, would of liked the cover for the "wow" factor but I'll add that to the list of things I don't want to happen with my car pre pickup lol

The cover, after being dragged across your car, tends to be left in a crumpled heap on the floor, to pick up yet more grit ;)
