Words cannot express the anger....

Got all scumbag angles covered by the looks of it. Top Man.
Good luck keeping quiet with the face to face

The dashcam caught them approaching the car, and the noise of the scrape. The four camera CCTV system outside the house showed a lot more.

People like that need knife scratching from head to toe.
I had this happen with my old golf and I'd recommend chips away they did a scratch across 4 panels and I think I paid less than £400 for a repair that was stunning
I know it's still a kick in the teeth but worth looking into if you are going to have to foot the bill

Sorry to read this Paul, one of the nicest guys around who I've met & for me its disgusting to hear of this, I had 2 cars done myself years ago & caused me so much anger, stress & animosity as I knew who did it, but couldn't act, arrgghhhhh!!!!!

I suspect if the neighbours go round & the guy ignores it, it will be a huge mistake for the kids family, little cxnts is all I can say.

how old was they?? should be legal to punch children in the face in these situations... or pay other children to do it lol!-) disgusting, have you spoke to the parents? do the have money? are they likely to punish the little brats?

I was outside yesterday filling in the scratch with paint (pics to follow but it came out ok if I do say so myself). while out there a guy walked past and asked what happened, I explained and he said his was also done last Wednesday, along with four others at the other end of the street, and one of them belonged to the local councillors son. I told him to get everyone to contact me as I have them on cam.

Dashcam is now upgraded to a Blackvue DR500GW-HD.
Shameless plug I know, but the DR380GHD will be appearing in the classifieds very shortly.

Not to shabby a repair if I do say so myself.
Using colour matched paint containing the lacquer, carefully filled along the scratch using a toothpick then using the flat part of the toothpick small circular action along the scratch to push the paint into it and flush it against the bodywork. Then used a wooden ice cream stick to shave off the excess. Using a DA polisher and AutoGlym polish to finish off and topped off with Collinite Liquid insulator.
I still know its there but its nowhere near as obvious, you do have to look to see it.

You can see how close and the angle I had to take this shot at in order to see it.

Thats a good attempt! Can hardly see it…..
And I hope these little B***** gets caught soon!

That is impressive work Paul. Good job. :) x

Well done mate, thats a cracking effort and you can hardly see it.

Looking good it barely shows, hope you get sorted and the little scrotes get punished.

Good work, Paul. So, how did the visit to the scrotes' parents go?

They grassed up the others very quickly, apparently there are a couple of pairs of them going around for local mini gansta bragging rights type stuff.

The other people who's cars were damaged, now numbering 9, are paying the others a visit one night.....

Nice repair Paul. Must've taken a while to do. You have the patience of a saint.
Surely if you now know who they are, the money for full blown repair can't be far away?

Well done again.

The police should keep their details on file and when these little ****** are older with their own family and a nice car the police send someone to do the same to their car.

The same thing could be used on all criminals. You mug an OAP then you get mugged when you are one. You burgle someones property then you get burgled, but we all know that this will NEVER happen as the UK is TOO soft.

Karma mate, what goes around comes around....I believe in this, so maybe it will come back to bite them!!

Things like this really annoy me. My wife for a short while lived on a long terraced road where every single car was keyed apart from a few like my wife's where they sprayed the side of the car with gold paint. We were the lucky ones because I was able to T-Cut the paint out.

Never a truer word spoken, apparently something bad may have happened, as I had a visit by an officer earlier today asking where I was at around 3.00am this morning.

And where were you ? lol. I hope they got a kickin

100% cast iron solid alibi, sat with 2 officers drinking tea as we waited for the alarm engineer at the gun club as the alarm had gone off and I am a key holder. I was there from 2.11am to 6.28am.

Remember this?
As much as I hate to drag up an old thread I have an update. I have finally got around to getting the work done. Can't afford the £1200 Audi wanted and didn't want to go through the insurance and increase my premiums for the next 70 years. I did a kinda repair job myself but it wasn't brilliant, and I still knew it was there and was reminded every time I got in the car.
Looked around for a smart repair, both Chipsaway and Revive in the Midlands never replied to me.

My friend in Kent had some damage to his RS6 and the guy who repaired it carried out a fantastic job. One quick phone call later and he was booked.
He turned up at Tracey's mums yesterday, I gave him the keys and left him to it.

Before, so you know what he was up against.

During

After

One very chuffed Sidibear, and not too heavy on the pocket either.
Highly Recommended in the Kent area.

Excellent mate, glad you managed to get it sorted and its all ok now.

@jdp1962 , can't recommend him enough, he finished mine and went off to repair Rob's kerbed alloy, he does those too. The beauty of it is that he comes to you, no faffing about with dropping your car off somewhere and all that, all he needs is a 13amp power supply. Took him around 3 hours in all.

Be warned though, don't go out and look just after he has started, its a tad un-nerving to see the side of your car sanded down :scared2:
