Nice job Mit and nice wheels too. These are the same wheels that i have coming on my S3 SB in March, how easy are they to maintain? Do you have a schedule for removing the wheels periodically during the year to get to the back or are you able to clean the whole wheel without removing them gaining access through the gaps?

Hi Louay,

sorry for the delay, i haven't been very active on here and just checked. TBH i have only cleaned them twice! the other day i went to hand car wash down the road, i know very bad of me, but stuck for time and was the 3rd time i had it cleaned since the above picture.

When i did clean it wasn't so hard, i use a wheel brush and the cleaning products help. I have never removed wheels to clean, i personally dont see the point, since they will get very dirty very quickly, of course the car itself is a different.

This was the wheel brush: EZ Detail Wheel Brush - Clean Your Car

I use for when i do a normal wash: ValetPro - Bilberry Wheel Cleaner - Clean Your Car

Then will use the iron-x every now and then. (i think twice or once a year)

I have just received my A3 S-Line in Amalfi White. If I'm honest I was so worried about the colour after so many people saying its creamy.....I was desperate for Glacier but just couldn't afford the extra!! After seeing the car for the first time I'm completely in love with it....its different not many about and you should see the amount of stares the car is getting!! If you order Amalfi you will not be disappointed because I certainly wasn't!!!!

Can anyone post some new pictures, maybe with some nice sunshine?

I'm at the point of ordering one and I'm still not sure about the colour.
(havn't seen any in the flesh)

I too was unsure, Ive had my Amalfi White for 6-7 month now. It was definitely the right choice for me.
Of the free colours.
Red is nice but too racy
Black I just dont like
Amalfi White is different depending on the light.

Of the free colour I would go for it again.

beautiful picture, but its in black/white :p

I think I'm just going to have to pick this colour and stop worrying

Having now finally seen an S3 in the creamy white I must say, I love it! I've had glacier on a TTS and nice as it was, I actually prefer this shade of white. I didn't even consider it when I ordered my S3, but in hindsight, may be I should have done. Very close the Porsche white I had on a cayman S. Excellent choice on the A3 IMO and anyone looking at Glacier really needs to first see Amalfi white in the flesh. When (if) I decide to order the RS3, I may go for this colour.

Some Amalfi S3 goodness!

Brilliant colour - changes shade dependent on the light. Tried to post pictures that are in different lights. People love it.......always gets a lot of love

In your country it sure is, here it costs € 51,000 (around £ 38,000)
Life is so unfair.

But thanks to your added pics I'm very sure about the Amalfi white (I hope to order my 1.2 tfsi S-line soon)

Its a great colour and the A3 whatever model line / engine you choose is a great car. You can't go wrong really.

I agree, sure the S-line has amazing performance, but even the 1.2 is so smooth and drives so good.
(Coming from a Kia it's like a giant leap into the future)

Yeah its a great engine. I had one as a hire car a while ago and thought it made a nice noise under load.

You won't go back to Kia after an Audi.....promise!

In Australia, the S3 SB is $60k AUD, and the S3 sedan is just over $62k AUD which is around £34k.

That was a drop in price of over $12k from the S3 8P model, and that had a lot less standard inclusions too.

That are pretty big prices aswell.

How is your tax system?
(here an S3 without taxes is £26k and with taxes £38)
*mumbles bad things about government*

Back to business, I just saw an A4 in Amalfi (i think) and with this clouded weather it looked pretty good. I think I'll like it a lot more then the bright white of Glacier white
