20.5 degrees heat 237bhp/240ps 499nm
38.,4 degree heat 229bhp/232ps 500nm

New box

39.5 degree heat 239bhp/242ps 515nm

The Skoda ran at heat virtually 100% higher than the last time we visited the same dyno. I don't think 8bhp loss is bad at all

We've been testing this kit for a while and have several 184 owners running this kit and the feedback has all been positive.
As Andrew will know... I'm not the easiest of people to please - I need to have a good few hours of anything under my belt :)

Trevor (really.. is that the best you can do Andrew..??) arrived for me today. VERY initial impressions are that he is very smooth and very solid - seemingly moreso than the outgoing CRDT+ he replaced with the same map. Will need to give it a week or two before I can say how I feel properly though...

What's the reason for increased figures.........how does Trevor achieve this?
Can you briefly tell us how this product is better than the one it supersedes ?

Cheers, Sean

are you suggesting a bit more than 245 bhp when winter comes ?

did you bring the skoda to the dyno with the map 4+2 and 4+3 ?

Yes and in the road +2 and + 3 don't feel very good at all. So we have changed the settings slightly so the retail variant of the kit will give the same output on plus 2 as was produced on the dyno at plus 1

Is that the same on mine Andrew? (i.e. do I need to go +2 to get the old +1?)

No, yours is identical to the old box Andy so that you have a true comparison . You're pre 31st of July when the settings were set for retail :)

What about TUV approval for the diesels?

There are a few people on this link who I'm sure would like their questions answered too

DTUK tuning box - Page 2 - A5_OC

Reading the TUV above it would appear that 348 BHP is the maximum for TUV approval for the S3, this would make your current S3 box unapproved, from the DTE site only their lower figures for the tuning box qualify for TUV approval, any that you have altered aren't approved. Of course I will eat my words if you do have approval at your figures, I won't hold my breath though.

The 184 is a pretty incredible engine. I couldn't believe it was a diesel when I test drove it.

Might be something I'll consider outside of the warranty......

What do you have to loose anyway bringing it? Worst case they say they don't take it which is the same as waiting until it's dead

I must be, trying to help you.

You weren't calling me that wen you were sendind me MP asking for my help though

One happy 'Trevor' customer right here! Or should I say the son of a happy 'Trevor customer lol. My old mans just had one thru the post yesterday for his 184 a3 sportback. He's chuffed it transforms the car IMO, no issues apart from a whole load more power, it's not dissimilar to my s3! Changes are still smooth, pulls nicely at low revs in 4/5/6 and if you couldn't fit one, well... Let's just say you shouldn't be behind the wheel lol ! As soon as I placed the order Andrew dropped me a message and has been more than willing to help even at 8:30pm! I couldn't ask for more than that. I'm sure there's always going to be people that have issues when it comes to calling on power that lets face it, audi didn't want you to have. But from the service I've received thus far from DTUK (Andrew in particular) id hope that if I did have any issues he'd be just as helpful in trying to resolve them :)
