S3 haldex earth strap cut but not code...

Well its actually a TT i am working on 'restoring' and noticed on inspection the haldex earth strap was severed (a common issue i know) however there were no codes logged in VCDS ?? Haven't looked into the wiring diagram but just thought i'd throw it out there, anyone seen similar on an S3 ?

I'm sure it earths perfectly through the diff cage to the car, I've been breaking 4motions/r32/s3 etc for years and not one single car had an intact earth strap, most of them had no fault codes on the haldex/diff

Early S3 didn't have an earth strap at all, doesn't seem to need one

Its more likely they didn't think it would need one at the time but due to some issue or other VAG decided to add one on later models
