before its long boat ride..... but at least its being built.
chased my dealer up and he said it was being built tomorrow, ... as with anything a dealer tells you I take it with a grain of salt.
Built week 26, arrived in UK Friday 4th. Dealer says I can collect on 24th July!!! THATS AGES LOL
That does seem excessive. Mine arrived between 5th and 7th. Collection on Tuesday 15th.
I thought that. I've asked if they can do any earlier, I suspect not though. I think they get the car on Monday
I was also going to ask those who have collected already, which leads they got to connect their iphones and ipods up? Audi customer services said these should be provided with the car upon collection
Not sure which dealer, done through work scheme through paye, py registration so I think that's Yorkshire
My 1.4COD was picked up yesterday evening (BW26). Delighted with it and the handover from York Audi - made it special. I've posted a few pics in the 'pics thread'. Thanks to Phil1824 for his advice on Connect. MyAudi all up and running on a Three 321 Sim.
Pen, key ring, thermos cup and a bottle of Lanson champagne in a fancy Wimbledon cooler sleeve! Plus a great salesman called Glen who took the time and care to go through the features on connect. It's my third car from them (including my wife's A1) and they will continue to get our custom in the future. Always been happy with their service.

Just had my order confirmation through, estimated delivery date 24/10/14, hopefully gets through quicker, fingers crossed lol.. A3 Sportback S-line 1.4 TFSI CoD Black - B&O, Adv Key, Tech Pack, Pwr Fold Mirrors.
I've been pretty patient waiting for my car to be built, ordered 5th April knowing full well it was going to be a long wait.
I contacted the dealership only twice since, one of them was to spec amend with confirmation of MY15.
I have had no other contact or news ref the car to which I called Audi Customer Services today to get an update explaining the dealership said they were to going to keep me updated but I haven't received any emails or calls since I spec amended some 6 weeks ago.
Audi Customer Service then went away to do some leg work on the matter. I received a call back within 10 minutes with news that my new my car was built, sat at the port awaiting shipping to the UK, Hannah (CS girl) then said it could be as little as 2 weeks until the car was at the dealership.

Great news but how much better if the dealership had done what it should have done and kept you informed rather than you having to chase CS. Oh well such is life - the important thing is that it is (almost) here!
Picking up my car a week on Monday! No sleep for me then.....
Does anyone know what Bw it is this week? And if my "Estimated" delivery times seems reasonable for my 1.4 TFSI Cod A3 SPortback? delivery date; 24/10/14 cheers.

Ordered end of March so I'm ready, fed up of reading the brochure lol, I am amazed how quickly it's been delivered after build

How long exactly did you have to wait after the build date? Mines getting built on 21st July and I've been told by the dealer I can expect delivery around 5th September, so that's 6+ weeks wait. Theres a few people on here that says it usually only takes around 4 weeks for delivery after the build date, so going off that I would have it around the 18th August? ...Having said that I've been told if it is late August delivery to wait until September to get it registered and pick it up so it had a 64 plate for better resale value!
Ordered 20th March, build date was week 28 which came down to week 27 a few weeks before, delivered today week 29, I had the option of waiting longer for delivery on transporter or having less that 100 miles on it

Jesus, only two weeks! Not bad at all! Dunno if I could wait till September if I get it that early as well...
Bad news, Monday pick up is gone and looks like the Monday after due to the old finacr company on my px being dicks! Gutted
