Hi,The above subject says - i wanted to see if people would be interested at a rolling road shoot-out day at AMD?i have emailed them to find available dates and thought id see if there was any interest from anyone on here first,I know there has to be 10 cars minimum and if we can get 20+ they will put on a BBQ - would be on a Sunday also.Look forward to everyone's views!Alex

Alex i am pretty sure i can get 2-3 pals who would love to bring their cars down for a rolling road. All be it they may not be Audi :) Gtr, CLS55 AMD, M3 and so on

See what numbers we can get from here first- be good to keep it to Audi-Sport , need to see what AMD come back with aswell so will keep you updated :)

Spoke to Ben @ AMD and he is sending over dates and price list e.c.t e.c.t , Think it may have to be September time! so good to get it sorted early!

Good to see numbers creeping up ...email I got from AMD below .. everyone ok with 21st sept if it's free ?

Hi Alex,


We run Rolling Road days on Sundays only, the minimum requirement is 10 cars (max of 30ish) and the price is £35 per car for 2 runs with a laminated print out. We always put on free tea, coffee and biscuits but if you get over 20 cars we also put on a free BBQ too. If it rains we BBQ in the workshop, so nice hot food whatever the weather.



The following dates we definitely can’t do are shown below, as we will racing in the BTCC.





Mar 30th – Brands Hatch Indy, Kent

Apr 20th – Donington Park, Leicestershire

May 4th – Thruxton, Hampshire

Jun 8th – Oulton Park, Cheshire

Jun 29th – Croft, Yorkshire

Aug 3rd – Snetterton, Norfolk

Aug 24th – Knockhill, Fife

Sept 7th – Rockingham, Northamptonshire

Sept 28th – Silverstone, Northamptonshire

Oct 12th – Brands Hatch GP, Kent



Sundays after the 14th of September are free, up until then we have dyno days most weekends.

I'm interested if the date is right, might also drag my mate along if that's okay with the rest of you, he has an S4 Avant so still keeping it within the Audi family!

Ate it completely in under 15mins.

He's a 4 legged waste disposal machine.


It should be a good day.....got it in the diary,and waiting to see from Ben if the car will be ready.
