Fantasy Formula 1 ASN League 2014

Im hopingi have a better round this week. :) x

Exactly WTF, Massa is one of my drivers, can I sack him ?? . Maybe Frank will that was such a beginners mistake there was no way he was going to get past Perez.

Given Perez's brake issue do you think he was having to brake way early of the normal brake point, Massa may not have known about the brake issue and completely misjudged when Perez might brake? Seemed too extreme to be a 'mistake'.

That said I bet Williams are spitting. Potential 4th lost and it was a bit of a desperate lunge.

Wow I'm going to take a hit this time. Hamilton out and Force india car dnf.
Thanks Massa!

The simple solution is not to put the league table up this time as im going to be at the bottom end, and i dont like losing very much, lol. :) x

I don't get how Massa didn't overtake Vettel.
That's the difference between good driver and a great driver like Alonso or Hamilton.

Massa? :banghead:

He could have saved my day when Hamilton went out, He could have won that race, but OOOoooh No! not him, he has to make a meal out of every passing opportunity ...no wonder he was the "whipping boy" at Ferrari, he can't string two laps together because his short-*** can't see over the steering wheel ...why would you need the team to move your team mate aside? pass him and get on with it.

Rant over. :(

Well it seems the stewards have access to mote information than the videos we saw.

23:20 – Force India driver Sergio Pérez will drop five places on the Austrian Grand Prix grid after the Montreal stewards declared him responsible for his collision with Williams rival Felipe Massa late in Sunday's race.

Massa was attempting to find a way past Pérez for third at the start of the final lap, but the pair banged wheels and slid into the trackside barriers, the former narrowly avoiding Sebastian Vettel's Red Bull machine.

Having reviewed the available footage, the stewards felt Pérez was at fault because he changed his line.

"Car #11 changed his racing line which caused the impact with car #19 in Turn 1," read a stewards' statement.

Both Pérez and Massa were taken to hospital for precautionary checks, but have since been released

As said earlier, there was no way that was just a case of a Massa mistake. Even the 'less good' drivers have astonishing reflexes and ability to read what's coming and that was just too big an accident to be one persons misinterpretation in normal weather conditions.

Aaah Canada ...my Joker weekend! Come on Massa, it's your 200th race weekend, make it special. :)

Watching the last 10 or so laps, I was thinking id need post in here saying how wrong I was about Massa…. Yes he’s a good driver.. but id not put my money on him!

You must have been counting your double points seeing Massa with new tyres and 2 dying cars in front of him!

24 points in total! I can't beat jojo now. :(

Got to admit, last Sunday's race results has played into my hands regarding the ASN FF1 league, who'd have thought that? But I'd much have preferred Lewis winning the race than being above you in the league!

Thanks for the update guys. Been a bit hectic at work lately.
That's about it for me winning the league this year.

That’s some “pep talk” you had with Massa.. he pulled his finger out this week! :lmfao:
Think he was a little unlucky at the pit stops, but a good drive from him

A good race for me with Rosberg winning and Massa managing to come in fourth, would have preferred Massa to have come in second but you can't have everything, jumped up into second overall.
A good race, I think Williams could maybe have challenged for the win if they had pushed a bit harder but they are really after points for the constructors to get some more money at the end of the season, only 2 points behind force india and 13 behind Ferrari .
Finishing in third in front of Ferrari in the constructors would probably mean another 20-30 million in the bank.

Karl.

Here's an update after Austrian GP.
Kamikaze going backwards :(

****** Renault, so much promise last year, this year they'd go better in reverse. Can't see things improving!

Credit where it's due, He certainly upped his game considering Williams' safety first strategy. :)

I see Susie Wolff will get the Williams drive for Silverstone..
I wonder if it will be Massa or Bottas to lose out?

Might as well be Massa losing his seat! it can't possibly cost me any more points than when he's driving going by today's quali. :(

and Hamilton seems to have taken his uppers too early today too ...what-A-numpty.

Thanks for reminding me, Didn't think it was going to be a good week for me after Massa smashed the car up on Friday, Then Saturday Williams messed up quali big style, and of course today he stalled on the line was running last then managed to crash into Raikonnen.
Hopefully He's had several races bad luck in one weekend and hopefully he might pull his finger out a bit.
And as soon as Rosberg said he had a gearbox issue I knew that was going to be a very bad weekend for my team. Oh well.
