Hi Folks,

I am pleased to announce that with the help of Sandra we now have a confirmed date for our first N.Ireland/Ireland meet.

The meet will be held at Belfast Audi on

Saturday 26th July from 10am - 2pm as these are the dealers opening hours.

The meet will consist of a tour of the workshop, dealership along with some refreshments. The tour will start at 10am sharp so its important you arrive early to avoid missing out.

We will be able to park together so this will provide an opportunity to get some groups photos. :icon_thumright:

However unfortunately this meet will be limited to maximum of 15 cars only so its a first come first served basis.

I am sorry we have to limit the number with the first event, but this is Audi's only restriction

If you can add you name to the list please.

Fantastic news, what a first meet :) Be very a interesting to see behind the scenes of how a dealership is run

Hopefully we can build a relationship with the guys at Belfast Audi, i think this is the ultimate goal so that it can benefit us in the future.

I have some concerns though, we do not have enough active members from here to fill all the spaces, so my suggestion would be to put it on some NI forums with the strict 15 member limit. We need to fill these spaces and this is our opportunity to encourage Audi owners outside of here to join up with us.

Id say leave it with this forum first Aaron, as it wouldnt be right local forums filling up space between now and then maybe some new audi sport members/not so active members join up and cant go cause non members are going. Though there is a chance you will gain members threw this but isnt always the case, maybe a week or two before hand if there is still spaces open it up to non members.

Thank you Trev. I enjoyed organising it for you guys. I have organised a fair amount of dealership meets for the events section. I hope your going? I didnt see your name on the list yet. Depends how im fixed i may jump on the ferry and join you. :) x
 
Great. Well as with everything I need to check with the other half first! We are in Florida the week before so I just don't know at this stage. Thanks for your efforts either way though.

Aaron, this is an audi-sport.net meet that i arranged for members on here. Anyone else you know that wants to attend must be members on here. .
 
Aaron, the event hasn't been up 24hrs yet patience!lol.. I do however feel that we should keep this event to the members of ASN only on this occasion, I feel this is only right as Sandra has gone to a great effort to arrange this event for ASN and we hope this will lead to a good relationship with Belfast Audi for the future.

I was thinking about this last night, and I do see your point of view with asking Audi members from other forums, but for this event perhaps we should just leave it open to ASN members only!.. If some of the members are on ASN then in my opinion they are more than welcome to come along, but if not it would be better to come along to the next event as when we are attending we will be representing ASN if know what I mean!
 
Got pointed to the forum by Brennan, unfortunately I am away on holiday when this meet is on, but would love to attend some meets in the future..

Brilliant news, thanks Sandra for organising it. I'm in the process of moving to Somerset to start work on the 1st of August...I'd love to put my name down but I may not be in the area at the time and even if I was i'd no longer be able to partake in NI events so maybe the space would be best reserved for someone who can "commit"? :(

Thx guys. May have the missus too! Sandra tell them Lance said it was ok. He's the one holding me to a 16 week wait on my A5! With any luck it'll be in the workshop ... He owes me this much, lol

Aye, I did, it's due to be built next week, looking at the dates again it may not have arrived by the time of the meet, but indulge me, lol

It would be cool if it was there, that would make you smile, lol. I hadnt realised that you got from Belfast Audi Steve. I hope you can go and enjoy the meet. Im sure you will look around to see if your car has been sneaked in. :) x

Guys any more for any more? Need to get names on this list as soon as possible.

Belfast Audi are taking time to have us at the dealership so i dont want to disappoint them
