Well I was due to have some new Momo Sentry wheels fitted today but at the last second I went with the 3SDM wheels with lower offset. The fronts are 8.5j with et32 and rears are 9.5j with et35. The front arches needed a little tickle with the arch roller but all ok apart from that.
Gave the car a full wash, polish and wax after. I'm really pleased with the stance now.

That looks fantastic. That stance is one of the best I've ever seen in a B6, well done :o.k:

Yeah it does like a bit different. I'm running the same tyres 235-35/19. No spacers, the wheels are the same size as the old LM's (8.5" front, 9.5" rear) but the SDM's are et32 on the front and et35 on the rear opposed to the old LM's which were et42 front and et45 rear.

What lowering kit do you have on it...? Really tempted to do mine but spend so much time dodging pot holes anyway hahaha... Don't know wether to go springs or all out and get a coilover kit...

yeh as said.............looks really good with those rims

I have AP Coilovers fitted. They are pretty reasonable for the money. The rears are as low as they will go but the fronts have plenty of adjustment.

One of the best cars on here! The best colour for the avant I think. Like the black grilles and lights, suit it. Tints or joey mod?Are they genuine audi mudflaps you have on? Must spend more time on mine.lol

I'm always jealous when I see an avant! Especially one that looks that good!

absolutely stunning car mate youve given me some inspiration for mine now lol how did you tint you headlights and what did you use to cover the chrome on the grill

Impeccable taste in wheels and good looking car, did you go with 235's on the front?

I like this, and from one Avant owner to another, looks stunning!

I toyed with the idea of BBS CHs which are extremely similar and are very popular, also they really suit the car, hence the 3SDMs look spot on in my opinion!

Love the stance too, mine is on standard Sport height so very jealous!! As a family bus (and ET29 alloys) I cant get away with anything lower than factory :sorry: without scrubbage anyhow....

Hi Greeny

How do you find the tyres (Kenda Kaiser) for wet grip ?

Rick

I quite like the Kenda tyres, i had some other brand budget tyres on before and they were atrocious in the wet but the Kenda's are ok.

Thanks for the comments.

I used some cheap tint film from Hong Kong on the headlights, not the easiest stuff to apply, i got a few bubbles in it but it's not to bad. The mud flaps are genuine Audi ones.

Yeah I run 235-35/19 all round, a 225 would be better on the front as i had to have the front arches rolled to clear the 235, but the 235 fit the 9.5" rims on the rear better. Being Quattro i have to run the same size all round.
