My First Post with a little Upgrade

Hi All I purchased my A3 2.0 TFSI S-Line Special Edition a couple of weeks ago and decided the headlights needed upgrading almost straight away as I couldn't stand the 'yellow tint' from the originals.

I purchased these off Ebay OSRAM W5W 501 HALOGEN 12V 5W COOL BLUE INTENSE SIDE LIGHT NUMBER PLATE CAR BULBS | eBay

I was a little sceptical when buying them with the advertisement 'cool blue', however they give off a nice crisp white light when on.
My nightbreaker Plus arrive today having read good reviews on them.

Hi welcome to the site, least you went for the best engine, if it isn't already mapped then get it done. It's a different animal afterwards..
LEDs are always a nice upgrade over halogens, get some pics up.

Hi, thanks for the reply i've spent a lot of time reading up on here and I plan on having a re-map at some point for sure. I live near JBS tuning in chesterfield so will be taking her down there for a re-map , figures on here state I could see close to 250bhp with a stage one .

Yes your looking around 250 horses, really nice upgrade. One thing I will warn you off is you will start spending plenty of monies once having a look around here. I've owned various a3/s3 since 2009 and spent cash on every one since I joined here haha. But now I can retrofit anything I want which is also good lol.

haha, well at 34 id kind of decided I was to old for modding...but the bug definetley woke up in me once I joined here.

WOW!!! Got to say bud, having been around car forums and modding for around 15 years that is the finest build I've seen (seriously).
10/10 fella, kept it low key in appearance but under the bonnet and everywhere else is immense.

I can only take a little bit of credit,as the bulk of it belongs to AMD,and to a couple of friends from Europe,who manage to make me spend more each time,but have builds of their own that I can only aspire to.

This forum and VAGOC gave me so much help when I arrived,that I've got to thank everyone for that also.
