Urgent help needed regarding 8p flitch and windscreen

Hi all,

Urgently need some advise, I have a 2009 A3 (facelift) and am in need of a flitch and windscreen. Would these be different to the pre-facelift (2006 shape)?

May I ask what does that actually mean.......flitch and windscreen coz I have never heard of that before.......lol

If the flitch is the inner section where you see the top of the suspension strut, I would expect its possibly the same as these don't tend to need swapping when people upgrade from the 2005-08 front end to the 2009-12 version

Well the windscreen is...the windscreen lol

The flitch is the bit behind the wing, the part that holds it to the car, think it's part of the chassis?

Yes that's the one! Do they change the front wings on an upgrade?

yes when going from either 2004 or 2006 model year onto the 2009 model they do

the wings are different on the 2009- they have a support bracket that acts as a spacer





from the top of the inner wing to the under side of the wing, you have to modify it abit so you can line the wing and bonnet up, its a tricky job but its worth it
