What I did today. In glorious sunshine I drove hood down to a friends house, where we collected his near concours DB4 and drove it to the Brooklands Museum for display at the New Years Meet. After a bacon roll and coffee 3 hours admiring hundreds and hundreds of cars and vans and bikes and planes and buses. The biggest display in terms of numbers and variety I have ever witnessed. All good blokey stuff. Despite many interesting' foreign vehicles' the faces and the accents and to some extent the period clothes worn to match the era portrayed made it all so very British as the country once was.
