My 3.2 S3 8L

A few more pictures for you guys, not done anything really, had my rear boot plinth smoothed and painted, plastidipped my front grill trim to match the badge...

I did a transit rear bumper conversion....

Looking for a nice dolphin grey rear bumper if anyone has one?.

And the girlfriends 225 TT after fitting some H&R springs due to a snapped standard one, ideal time to upgrade as I get to drive it sometimes :).

What happened with the van? Just reversed into your car?

Dolphin grey is an awesome colour when clean.

"XXR" 527 really go this body, especially S3 ))) Sorry for my bad English )))

Awesome car mate. Love the wheels. Could you please take a photo from "above" the wheel arches, so i can see how much they stick out? Do you have any issues with the inner fenders, considering the ET and the width of the wheels?

Good work, it's going to be epic with boost! Got a turbo in mind?

thats a T4 manifold. what turbo you going for?

I'm thinking of a precision 6262 for now (T4 flange). Thats what the CTS kits use I believe, still doing some digging atm though!

Yeh garratt all the way, this car going be proper sick when she has a big blower on, saved for that quick lol

Just the space issues that they come with. They're "long" turbos. The integrated diverter valves and internal gates look pretty good though.

From what I've heard, Precision have improved there internals now, But I still need to investigate, haven't had that much time recently!
I'm still saving money and collecting bits and bobs anyway so I'm in no rush :).
Things like brakes, tyres, holidays, keep draining my moneyss!

Agreed, Nice conversion, I bet it sounds good! did the 3.2 loom just plug in? and what clocks did you use?

That is stunning, good to see you've done a conversion with an engine fitting for the S3, not some terrible oil burner or something.

Cheers guys, I did actually contemplate a tdi swap and use it everday instead of my 8P tdi.

Turbo is now on order, i've got everything apart from injectors, 3" exhaust system and software, I've been advised it should be around 450/500bhp when complete

yeh but the 3.2 is heavier than the 1.8t lump so will you really be any better off with a 450bhp r32 over a stage 2 1.8t :whistle2:

Even if the car was Tiv mapped to 260/260 it would be rapid enough.

I got excited when you wrote you had an Audi coupe quattro, I thought you were going to take the whole drive train and modify it to work with a transverse engine. The first S3 to have proper torsen quattro.

The car will have a nice torque curve even in low boost, looking forward to the results

Nice looking car! :) thinking of fitting a couple of xxd 530`s, you think i will be able to fit 18x9,75j et20? :) i have a 2002 Audi S3 btw

lovely looking car. noticed in some of the pictures that you were in Borth/Aberystwyth - visiting or do you live near? Thats my neck of the woods

No mate I'm in Staffordshire, I went to Borth camping a couple of years back. Nice quiet place, apart from I had my phone smashed by a monkey in the animalarium....

Pics from when me and my co-pilot arrived at Stealth Racing for the mapping. (4x4 ride height for the rollers.) Stealth are awesome by the way, Definitely made the right choice going to Vince.

So I've not done any updates in a while, the car is back on coilovers now, 2 pairs of adjustable arms on the rear, fully polybushed, bucket seats, no rear seats, battery is in the boot, 3" downpipe and exhaust, AEM Tru boost and Wideband, now running 420bhp/400ft.lb, which is pretty fun, all of the 6 cylinder fun noises... Love it.

I'll get the gopro out soon and try to get some noisy videos on my own private race track...:grin::grin:

Hi all, Quick update, I've not done a lot, killed my clutchmasters FX400 so it was off the road for a while, I've now fitted a new sachs SMF and 6 paddle clutch kit, which is a lovely bit of kit by the way.
Also cut a chunk out of my front bumper to get some more direct airflow to the front mount and keep the temps down in the bay a little bit, and enjoying it!
I've tried to get some gopro videos of my exhaust from my back bumper but the wind always seems to take over the mic... If anyone has any tips I'm all ears.
Oli

Integra for scale.
