Ahh don't worry. Ive just read its a misprint in the manual. It states H11 when it actually needs H8.

Now to decide if I should modify the H11s or try and buy some H8s (or give up)

The table in my manual says the Front fog light is a 35W (H8) bulb.

They must have updated it. Mine says H11

Just seen some H8 18 LED bulbs and some H8 28 LED bulbs on H8 fitting, 35 Watt LED front foglight bulbs for cars and vans

Quite expensive but I don't know how much ordinary H8 bulbs cost.

Yea i don't know if LEDs will generate bulb failure errors as the energy consumption will be less possibly causing alerts

Apparently, it is just a pin that needs bending out of the way. I had same problem on mine when I bought replacement fog lamps to match the xenons. T8ups, a member on here, supplied my xenon matched ones, but supplied H11's based on the manual, and eventually we decided to just swap them rather than mod them. Maybe he can advise on the modification.

btw, the H8's which were eventually fitted (by my local garage as I could not be botheed with the messing around) are a perfect match for DRL's and xenons.
