I'm soon to take delivery of my new A3 in Misano Red and I've started looking into ways in which I could personalise it.

After I browsed through the Finland and German audi accessory catalogues I found an interior kit which you can add on once the car has been built.

Its called an 'interior colour kit' and is available in misano red/ibis white and fog blue/ibis white.
There are three parts of which you buy separately and they are;
Door/Dash inserts
Interior rear view mirror housing
Lower dash knee pads (either sides of the gear shifter)

As you could understand the parts numbers were hard to find and eventually discovered on this website :
AUDI A3/S3/SPORTBACK/QU. [A3] (EUROPE) 2013 [8V-D-000 001 >>]: ACCESSORIES, INFOTAINMENT: 07210. GENUINE ACCESSORIES; DECORATIVE SET; INTERIOR EQUIPMENT

So far I have got the lower dash panels and still awaiting the 3 door RHD door/dash inserts.

I would be happy to post pictures if you wish to see the parts before I fit them to the car, to get an idea of how they fit/secure.

Below is what is shown in the catalogue, what are your thoughts?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm not a fan of that i'm afraid. looks a bit cheap

I know what you mean, kinda puts it inline with the A1 styling bits you can add.

I may just stick with the dash/door inserts.. Then again it could look sweet and I'm pretty sure not many people will have it in the UK.

Thanks for the comments

I think that looks great, mind you I did have a JCW hatch with red/silver highlights on doors/dash ... I think all black interiors are dull and can be a very gloomy place to spend time in .. Easy to keep, and probaly better for resale but I'd say go for it

TheFiftheElement I thought that too about becoming too dull and gloomy inside th cabin.
I have wanted to get a black roof lining for a while now and the only way ive found to brighten things up is the black/silver cloth seats.

My dream would be the chestnut leather with half black/brown dash

Totally agree, I've gone for the Silver Leather with Mono.pur for my S3.

The demo had the Parade Red, but I think that's a bit too much (especially with Sepang Blue exterior), the Super Sports seats do lift the interior a bit with the contrast stitching, but I didn't want to bust my self imposed budget.

I had cream interior in my X5 (black dash though) and it was lovely, mind you I also had the red interior in my RS60 spyder and that was alikened to sitting in a womb

I try and avoid all black if I can ..

Looking at the standard interior, i just don't see how you can improve on perfection.

I also don't quite understand how anyone who pays £30k plus for a new car can even contemplate sticking aftermarket bits all over it?

Each to their own though

Not for me either but if you like it that's all that matters mate, your money, your car.

Pity, the SS seats are really nice.

That would look better on a white S3 with the parade red interior to match.
