To all 1.4 TFSI owners with cars delivered in 2014

Regarding the problem last year with the Turbo waste gate actuator rod rattle.......which was fixed by installing a small clip. is it safe to assume that since this fault was identified, that a factory fix was implemented?

anyone taken delivery so far this year and experienced this rattle and needed the waste gate clip?

No rattle from my 1.4 COD engine....took delivery of my saloon in April 2014.

No rattle here either. My SB was collected in March and so far the car has been perfection personified.

Just to clarify, this didn't affect the COD engines. Only the 1.4 122bhp engines.

No point in answering as this doesn't effect the 140ps cod engine...

Have you got a pic of the clip fitted so we can check if it has been fitted by the factory from now on?
