Hi all, Here goes...

Below is My Dolphin grey S3., I brought it about a year and a half ago as as a non-runner (leg out of bed).

Swapped the BAM out with an AGU engine with fresh head gasket, valve stem seals belts etc. and the threw the ebay special K04 in the bin so no more engines got destroyed :).

I've also fitted the leon brembos, KW V3's (now for sale), KW rear arms, 18" XXR wheels with Khumos, plate and a few other bits and bobs.

Then I brought a B3 Audi Coupe Quattro and got addicted to the noise of the additional cylinder, so I threw a 2004 TT 3.2 engine in and the cruise control along with it which I didnt have before.

Last week I brought an air ride kit and fitted that on Friday. and thats about it for now. I just need to get some paint sorted and I may be happy. (Apart from the lack of boost).

Man i love dolphin grey!!

aren't those wheels 5 x 114 or something? You running adapters then? They look so good especially in bronze

Awesome.... But the R32 engine is sooo much better with boost ;)

Firstly, that's awesome! Secondly, did you do it all yourself? Surely you spent a fortune doing this?

Yeah, every single thing myself in my spare time (apart from paint). Like to get my hands dirty now and again, I'm kinda sad :)

Its all been done on the cheap where possible, not been in any rush to buy anything really.

The car itself only cost me a grand, so it hasn't cost that much really :uhm:.

I guess I'll have to do something new to keep this interesting!

You haven't seen it up close mate! Paint lets it down a bit, although I try my best to keep it clean. (hate spending money on paint! I can't take it off and resell it!).

Hopefully mate, Is it your car that PSI tuning did the conversion for? Sure I've seen a video of it somewhere!

Mine are the for the 9.75 wide, With a 225/40 tire on, thats the limit of stretch that I dare to go to. make sure you check your clearances if you run the 9.75's on the front, I have about 2mm of clearance between the rim and the strut :happy:
 
a machine polish brings these grey colours up lovely, i had mine done a few weeks back when i had a couple of pannels painted, looks awesome now!

Well it's booked in next week to do my wings and four screw holes in the boot from the previous owner, So I'll try to blag a machine polish in with that :)
 
Awesome! I once considered a 2.7 twin turbo swap but the sale didn't went (me buying a complete front end 2.7 TT)

The arches looks larger for me, have you done any work on it or it just looks wider in the pics?

Cool, yeah I'll try and get out a bit this year, where are you heading too?.

I was running a stainless decat but I hated it, It was so tinny. Don't get me wrong, flat out it sounds awesome, but the rest of the time I kept thinking the exhaust was blowing.

Cracking looking s3 I'm buying the same wheels as soon as I can just an inch narrower haha! Don't fancy 9.75's followed you on insta aswell

Et20 those are bud, Although I'm struggling with clearance now due to the airlift struts being slightly larger diameter body than my KW V3's.
